In China, many parents do everything for their children. Lots of students don't have life skills. Because of this, Duan's school gives the class. "We want students to really enjoy life by taking the class. We hope students can know it's not easy to get food. And we also want students to thank their parents, "a teacher says.

At the same time, in another middle school in Yinchuan, students learn how to make steamed buns(馒头) in class. A girl named Lian Yan says, "I really love our life skill class. It's my favourite class, "

"Children often just study but don't want to do housework(家务) at home, "says a mother. "The life skill class makes it interesting And the class can even make it become students'hobby or life skill, "she says.

They've been extinct (灭绝) for more than 65 million years. They left no pictures but libraries were filled with books about them. Yet, they live on in the imaginations of people. Mention the word "dinosaur" to anyone and you're sure to have something to talk about.

We have known about these strange living things for more than 200 years. Their fossil (化石) record was first discovered in 1818. The word "dinosaur" was created in 1842 by a scientist who put two Greek words together.

What we know about dinosaurs comes only through the fossil record they left behind. We can get an idea of how they looked by building their skeletons (骨架) with fossilized bones and teeth. They must have been amazing as they towered high above the other living things of their time. We do know that they lived on land and walked. Some walked on two legs. Others preferred four legs. Some were fast and others were quite slow.

We have a pretty good picture of their size and structure, but not much else is known for certain. For example, what color were they? Nobody knows. Did they cry like lions, or were their voices sweet and musical like birds? Again, how can we know? The fossil record does not speak.

Keep in mind that what we don't know about dinosaurs is far greater than what we do know about them. As with a lot of researches about that era, scientists often have to read between the lines.

What's your favorite drink, water, juice or tea? May 21, 2020 marked the first {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(国际) Tea Day.(ITD). It was named by the UN on Nov 21, 2019. ITD isn't just about the{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(庆祝活动) of the delicious drink. It also tires to improve the working conditions of the farmers and workers. It makes the {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(民众) know the importance of tea all over the world.

How much have you got the {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(知识) of tea culture? Tea is the world's second most popular drink (after water). Drinking tea has many upsides. Now tea is loved by millions from the China to England. from India to Afghanistan.

Tea was{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(发现) in 2727 BC in China. When the ruler Shen Nong was{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(煮沸) water over an open fire, some{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(树叶) from a tea plant fell into the water. Shen Nong then fell in love with the drink, and that is how tea became a common drink in Chinese culture. For centuries, drinking tea is an old{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(传统) in the UK. There's tea for breakfast, tea during break time, tea when visiting a friend's house, tea to wake up or tea to relax.. For Indians, drinking tea is also a huge part of{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(日常) life.

The Phone of the Wind, which sits in a garden on top of a hill in the Japanese town of Otsuchi, is now known for helping people do with sadness.

The Phone of the Wind is a white telephone booth(电话亭)，which was made by Itaru Sasaki, a garden designer. In 2010, Sasaki put the phone in his garden as a way to speak to his cousin who died many years ago. Sasaki felt as if he could connect(联系) with his cousin through the phone although the phone inside the booth was disconnected. "Because my thoughts couldn't be taken over a common phone, I wanted them to be taken by the wind," he said.

In 2011, a tsunami(海啸) hit northeastern Japan and killed over 1, 500 people in Otsuchi. To help the many people who had lost family members or friends in the tsunami, Sasaki decided to ____▲____. The phone gave people a chance to say all the things they never got a chance to say to their loved ones. A notebook could also be found inside the booth in which people could write messages for their loved ones. Since then, the telephone booth has helped thousands of people get through the hardest time.

Sasaki's Phone of the Wind has inspired others around the world. In 2017. Altruchas, an artist in California USA, made a phone after his friend and 35 others died in a fire. Earlier in 2021, a similar phone was put on Colorado's Aspen Mountain for people who lost loved ones because of the COVID-19.

"Loss is a natural part of the human experience. When we lose someone close to us, it makes us miss them for the rest of our lives," said Altruchas, "Sasaki's Phone of the Wind does help make it a little bit easier to overcome our sadness."

As students in Grade 9, there is only few months left before you graduate. How will you record your memory of the past three years?
