Xining to Lhasa

Length: around 1 900 km long Price: 781 yuan for a soft sleeper

The railway line is popular with travellers who want to visit Tibet(西藏). It is the longest high altitude(海拔)train trip in the world and is named as "the way to the sky". Most of the line is over 4000 meters. You can see Qinghai Lake outside the train's windows. 

Chengdu to Kunming

Length: around 1 100 km long Price: 487. 5 yuan for a second class

The railway line has been in service since July 1970. From Chengdu, with an altitude of 400 meters or so, the train goes up to about 2 000 meters across mountains. This line is called Geological Museum(地质博物馆) because of the special geography along the railway line. 

Lhasa to Rikaze

Length: around 250 km long Price:64 yuan for a soft seat

This railway line connects to the Qinghai-Tibet Railway and has an altitude of above 3 600 meters. It makes Tibet travel easier for travellers, especially those who want to see Mount Qomolangma, the highest mountain in the world.

In my school, teachers try to stop bullying. We often talk about why bullying is bad. But bullying still happens(发生). Bullies(霸凌者) may meet with parents, be suspended(停学), or leave school. We should try to stop it.

In some schools, teachers don't take bullying seriously. They think kids are just"playing", Luckily, at my school, bullying is not a problem. Teachers will watch the alone and quiet students. The school uses websites like Safe2Say to report(报道)bullying.

In the UK, bullying is still a concern(担忧). In 2023, one in four students said they were bullied. Most schools have plans to stop it. At my school, some teachers look after and help victims(受害者). Some schools will hold an Anti-Bullying Week to help students know about bullying.

In South Korea, school bullying is not as common(常见)as on TV, but it is a big problem. Bullies might not get into university because of what they did. To stop bullying, we can follow Confucius'(孔子)advice:"Treat others as you want to be treated(己所不欲，勿施于人). " This means everyone should try to make sure all students feel safe at school. 

Phryge: The Mascot for 2024 Paris Olympics The mascot  (吉祥物) for the 2024 Paris Olympics is a lively character named  "Phryge". Shaped like a triangle, it is red, blue and white, mirroring the colors of the French flag. The design draws inspiration from the common Phrygian cap in France, known as the"cap of freedom". The playful appearance of the mascot caught much attention from people around the world during the Paris Olympics in July and August this year. 

The design of the 2024 Paris Olympics medal is inspired by the famous French landmark"the Eiffel Tower" Each me da l is made of the iron pieces from the tower. The pieces in its center are in the shape of a hexagon(六边形). On the back side of the medal is a small picture of the Eiffel Tower and the ancient Greek god dess of victory named Nike. Athletes must be very proud and happy when holding these medals.
