When is your favorite time? Lily goes to school from Monday to Friday. And lunchtime isher favorite time. 

Lily loves the school lunch. Some students don't like the school lunch, because they thinkit's not good. They bring(带来) their lunch to school. Their mothers make(做) hamburgers orsalad for them for lunch. Some students bring leftovers(剩饭菜) for lunch. But Lily doesn't!She thinks the school lunch is good. Her lunch is only $1.35. She can buy good and healthyfood. She has lunch with her friends. Boys can have lunch with girls. They like to talk about(谈论) their favorite subjects, their favorite teachers and their favorite days. After lunch, they liketo play games.

At school, Lily likes lunchtime. For Lily, her school days are very happy.

He realised wisdom (智慧) is more valuable than simple answers that are easy to get.

One evening, I invited a group of my friends to my house, {#blank#}1{#/blank#}them that I need their help for a study and it would take only a few minutes. 

They all sat down nervously (紧张地) when they saw a recorder （录音器）in my{#blank#}2{#/blank#}. Seeing that, I told a "lie" that there was only one small task (任务) for them—ｔhat was just to count from one to twenty. 

Then each of them in turn counted from one to twenty. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}it was over, I pretended (假装) to turn the recorder off and brought some drinks for them. Enjoying the drinks, we started to talk and joke{#blank#}4{#/blank#}.

Well, my{#blank#}5{#/blank#} task began—to record each one's speech （发言）for a study. 

Last week our school held a sports meet. Everyone in our class felt very e{#blank#}1{#/blank#} because we won. In the boys' relay race, Michael ran very fast and our class w{#blank#}2{#/blank#} the first place. Yu Ting is good{#blank#}3{#/blank#} the long jump and she also got the first place. We' re sorry that we did badly in the high jump, but we' re sure we will do better next time.

It{#blank#}4{#/blank#} part in the boys'400- meter race. I did my best and was the first to cross the line. Now I love sports more. I want to be a soccer player. I will do more e{#blank#}5{#/blank#} every day and I hope someday I' ll be able to take part in the Olympic Games.

Bethany Hamilton is from Hawaii. When she was just 13 years old, she and her friend were surfing (冲浪) in the ocean. While they were 1 , a shark attacked (袭击) Hamilton and she lost her left arm after that.

Hamilton was sent to the hospital 2 . When she arrived, she had already lost more than half of her blood and 3 died. But doctors saved her life. Hamilton loved surfing, and she didn't want to stop. Of course, it was much harder for her now 4 she only had one arm. First, she got a 5 surfboard (冲浪板). This board was thicker and it was easier to control (控制). Then, she started to exercise her 6 . She needed stronger legs because she had to kick more to push the board through the water. Finally, she learned 7 to surf with only one arm.

Less than one month after the accident, she was surfing again

Today, Hamilton is an excellent professional (职业的) surfer. She surfs in all competitions around the 8 . She has been in competitions in the USA, Brazil, and Australia. In total, she has won four important 9 . She no longer needs a special surfboard. She uses the same kind of surfboard that 10 else uses. 

Hamilton uses her experiences to 11 people never to give up. She wrote a book about the 12 attack and her difficulties. She also goes on TV shows. In 2011, her experiences were even 13 into a movie. She has also won several awards (奖) for her courage (勇气).

Hamilton says that helping people has been a wonderful experience for 14 . She says that she has learned a lot about life, love, and being 15 . However, although so many things have happened to her, she says she is still just a surfer.
