Do you know Mulan? Do you know Ma-on? They are both names of typhoon (台风).

Typhoons are very strong wind and they often bring hard rain. When a typhoon comes, what should we do?

When you get an alert (预警), stay at home as much as possible. Check all your windows and doors, keep them all closed. You can also make a "米" with tape (胶带) on the window. It makes the window stronger. You should also pack an emergency bag (应急包). What's in the bag? Things like water, food, a torch, some medicine are necessary (必要的). You don't have to worry, get ready for it.

The Food of the 24 Solar Terms

The 24 Solar Terms are important in Chinese culture(中华文化). We can know the time from them. And there is lots of food for these solar terms.

The Spring Equinox is in spring(春天). We eat some fresh vegetables during Spring Equinox. Fresh vegetables can make us healthy.

Mojor Snow(大雪) is in winter(冬天). It is cold(寒冷的). People would like to have hot soup and porridge(粥) during Major Snow.

During Winter Solstice, we can use spoons to eat huntun and use chopsticks  to eat jiaozi. Some jiaozi look like "yuanbao".

Spring is warm and rainy.Trees and flowers grow and grow.The leaves are green. The flowers are beautiful. The air is very fresh.

Summer is hot and sunny. The sun shines and shines. I can go to the beach. I can swim in the sea. I like having ice cream.

Autumn is cool and windy. I can see the clouds in the sky. The leaves are red and yellow. I like flying kites in autumn.

Winter is cold and windy. I can hear the wind. I wear a lot of clothes. I can play snow with my friends.

There is a happy family. They have a magic (有魔法的) tree. The tree can make wishes come true(使愿望成真).

There are Mother, Father, a boy Tim and a girl Kim in this family. They all love their tree.

Tim says, "I wish for a big red rope." The tree grows a flower, and a big red rope appears(出现)! Tim is so happy.

Kim wants to make a wish too. She says, "I want some juice." The tree grows leaves, and then a bottle of juice appears! Kim is so happy.

Mum and Dad see this. They want a picnic (野餐). Then a door comes. And open the door, they see a beautiful park and a picnic! They have a fun picnic in the park. They play together. Then they say"thank you" to the tree.

A lion is sleeping. A mouse jumps on his tail. The lion is angry. He catches(抓住) the mouse and wants to eat him.

 The mouse begs(乞求), "Let me go, please. I will(将) help you some day."

 The lion says, "Ha ha!: You can not help me. You are so small." The lion smiles and lets the mouse go.

 One day, the lion falls (掉落) in a big net (网). "Help! Help!" The lion cries (呼喊). The mouse hears the lion and runs to the lion.

 The mouse says, "Let me help you!" He cuts off the net with his teeth.

 The lion is saved (得救). They are good friends now.

 Everyone is good at something. Let's help each other(互相)!

Today is a day with different weathers. In the morning, it is sunny. The sun is bright.

Then at noon, it becomes cloudy. The clouds are in the sky.

In the afternoon, it is rainy. The rain makes everything wet.

At night, it is snowy. The ground is all white.
