Big cities are wonderful places to live in.There are many nice things to see and to do.You can go to different museums and theatres.You can also go shopping to buy things from all over the world.

But there are many problems in big cities，too.The cost（费用）of living is high.And there are too many people in some places.Every year many people move to the cities because they want to find jobs or to study at good schools.But sometimes these people can't find good places to live in.Also，too many people in a small space makes it hard to keep the cities safe and clean.

There are many robots in the world now. They can do a lot of work for us.

One robot is called Snakebot. This robot is long and thin. It can move up and down and go anywhere. It can help find someone trapped(困住) in a building after an earthquake(地震) or a fire.It is really helpful. In the future, it will be used in surgical procedures(外科手术).

The other one is a socially assistive(社交辅助) robot. It can talk, move around and make gestures(手势) with its hands. The robot can help people with problems. It will not feel tired. So it will always be there to help. It is really a good friend.

There's a masquerade （化装舞会） at school today. Students can dress up （装扮）as their favourite professions （职业）.
