Hello. I'm Jim. I am thirteen years old and I come from Canada(加拿大). I can speak French（法语） and English. Do you have pen pals（笔友）? I have four.

Our movement spend a lot of time and money improving the city's traffic. They build more roads and make stricter rules. However, do they really work on the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} problem!

Clearly, they work little because the speed (速度) of building more roads is slower than that of cars' growth. 

Why not{#blank#}2{#/blank#}down, the growth of cars and speed up the roads' building? This way is much better than that of just {#blank#}3{#/blank#}more roads. Although there are stricter rules to let cars run on the road in{#blank#}4{#/blank#}tones; traffic still grows heavier and heavier. The {#blank#}5{#/blank#}one is the traffic restriction (车辆限行). This rule improves the city's traffic in someway {#blank#}6{#/blank#}snot too much, for example, Jack's family live far away from the city {#blank#}7{#/blank#}a my parents have to drive to work but they can' t drive their car on Tuesdays. What will they do to solve (解决) the problem? The fastest and best way is to buy {#blank#}8{#/blank#}car and ask for a different license plate (汽车牌照), In this way, they can go to work {#blank#}9{#/blank#}like before. 

I hope our movement can develop a better plan {#blank#}10{#/blank#}be the situation. Fewer cars mean fewer traffic problems. 

Last Friday afternoon, my parents told me that they {#blank#}1{#/blank#} to take me to the countryside to enjoy the beauty of nature. I {#blank#}2{#/blank#} very happy about the trip. Before the trip, we prepared （把. . . . . . 准备好）everything for it. 

Then the next day, my father {#blank#}3{#/blank#}us to the countryside. Along the way, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery（风景）. The {#blank#}4{#/blank#}are taller（更 高）and greener （更绿）than those in the city. We stopped our car at times and went out to breathe （呼吸）the fresh air. It was so {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. We felt so relaxed. 

Two hours later, we {#blank#}6{#/blank#}the countryside. It was so beautiful there. We saw some farmers working in the fields. We went to help them and they talked to us{#blank#}7{#/blank#} . 

We had {#blank#}8{#/blank#}picnic in the fields. We enjoyed ourselves very much. We all thought the life in the countryside was more interesting than that in the city. We all hoped to live in the countryside one day. 

In their last moment before the flight took off, I heard a father saying to his daughter, " I loveyou, I wish you enough. "

The daughter said, "Daddy, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough to. " They kissed goodbye and the daughter left. I could see the father was very sad. 

Suddenly the father walked towards me and asked me, "Did you ever say goodbye to someone knowing it would be the last time?"

His words made me think of my father. Realizing that my father's days were limited(有限的)，I took the time to tell him face to face how much he meant to me. So I understood what this father was experiencing. 

" Yes, I did. " I answered, " But why is this a last goodbye?"

" I am old and my daughter lives much too faraway. Maybe her next trip back will be for my funeral (葬礼)，" he said. 

" When you were saying goodbye, I heard you say 'I wish you enough'. What does that mean?"

He began to smile. "my parents used to say it tome. When we say 'I wish you enough' ，we want the other person to have a life filled with enough good things. " He stopped for a moment and continued, "I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright. I wish you enough rain to appreciate (欣赏. 感激) the sun more. I wish you enough happiness to

keep your spirit alive. I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life seem much bigger… I wish you enough

'Hellos' to get you through the final ' Goodbye'". 

He then said goodbye to me and walked away. 

One day an elephant walked into a forest to look for friends. 

He saw a 1 . "Will you be my friend?" asked the elephant. The monkey answered, "You are too big. You can not swing（荡）from 2 like me. " 3 , the elephant met a frog. "Will you be my friend?" he asked. The frog said, "You are too big to jump like me. " The elephant was very 4 .

The next day, the elephant saw all the 5 in the forest running for their life. The elephant asked, "What's the matter?" The monkey cried, "There is a tiger in the forest. He's trying to eat us all up!" The animals all 6 to hide. 

The elephant decided to 7 everyone. He walked up to the tiger and said, "Please, Mr. Tiger, do not eat up these poor animals. " "Mind your business（事情）!" shouted the tiger. The elephant had no choice but to give the tiger a heavy kick（踢）. The tiger ran for his life 8 .

The elephant went back into the forest to tell the 9 news to everyone. All the animals 10 the elephant. They said, "You are just the right size to be our friend. "

The seven- year- old boy Kevin likes cars. He reads about cars in magazines 1 he watches shows(表演) about cars on TV.

 He asks his parents," Could you buy me a 2 ?"" No," says Kevin's mom." You are too 3 and you can't drive a car now."" No," says Kevin's dad."A car is very 4 and we don't have so much money to buy one for you."

 Kevin is very sad. He wants a fast orange sports car! He tries to 5 one! He reads books about cars. He goes to the car factory(工厂) and watches the 6 make the cars.

 Finally, he starts making his car! He tells his parents about 7 . They say it's too hard.

8 two months, Kevin asks his parents to see his car. They are excited! It is beautiful ! It is 9 ! It is a big toy sports car! Kevin can sit in it and drive!

 Kevin's parents are 10 happy. Kevin's dad says,"I was sure you can do it!" Kevin smiles and drives away.
