Draw a picture of your favorite place in school to win prizes （奖励）. With the picture，please write a short description （描述）

Your pictures can be colored or black﹣white. Please finish and give your pictures to Mrs. Brown in Room 301 before July 6th，2022. 

You can see the winning pictures be on show outside the school hall in September.

There's no doubt that the earth is our shared home. 

I firmly believe that only with our joint efforts can we make our environment better and better. Let's take action from now on.

Do you know people had three names: their family name, given name and courtesy name (字) in ancient (古代的) China? Let me introduce them to you.

Take famous poet Li Bai as an example (例子). His family name is Li, his given name is Bai, and his courtesy name is Taibai.

People use their given names when they are with their family or friends. And your elders like your grandparents and parents call your given name at home. But in the workplace, people use their courtesy names.

Men get their courtesy names when they are 20 years old. Wome n get their courtesy names after they get married (结婚).

People's courtesy names have something to do with (与……有关) their given names. For example, Zhuge Liang's given name is Liang. It means" bright". His courtesy name is Kongming. And the meaning is" very bright".

Good morning! I'm Zhang Han. I'm a student of Yujiang Middle School in China. The school is nice. 

I'm in my 1 now. This is a desk. The 2 of the desk is blue. It is Lily's desk. Brown is her last name. Lily Brown is my good friend. She's from England. So she can speak 3 well. Look!A set of keys and a schoolbag are on the desk. The keys are yellow. They are Lily's. The4 is blue. Is it 5 , too? No, it's my schoolbag.

Do you know how to celebrate (庆祝) a birthday in the UK? People usually have dinner at a nice restaurant. If it is your birthday, you can choose the food and drinks you want.

Going to an amusement park (游乐场) for your birthday is also popular. There are many things to ride on, such as the roller coaster(过山车)and the big wheel (摩天轮). You can invite your friends to go with you. Of course, your parents will pay all the cost.

If the weather is nice and you have enough time, you can have a garden party. People usually play interesting games in the garden. For example, you can use a black cloth to cover your eyes, so you cannot see anything. Then you should use your ears to find and catch the other people.

No matter who you are and where you live, the most important thing is what kind of person you are. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Among them the following qualities （品质） are the most helpful ones. 

Have a positive attitude （积极的态度）. Life is not always a bed of roses. When you face difficulties, don't lose heart. Do you know what can help you overcome difficulties? It's your attitude. Cheer up! {#blank#}2{#/blank#} When you smile in front of it, it will also smile at you.
