Once upon a time there was a little boy whose name was Hood，and he always wore a1 coat with a hood. Other children always laughed at him and called him" Red Ring Hood(小红帽)". 

One day Hood's grandmother had a2 and his mother asked him to take lunch for her. "All right," he said to his mother, "but do I need to wear my coat today? It's quite 3 ."

"Of course you need, son," said his mother. "You never know, it might get cold later."

So Hood walked across the village with some food. As he passed the shops, he could hear his classmates shouting and laughing at his coat with the red hood. He put his head down and walked on4 .

Hood had a good time with his grandmother. When it was time to go home, Hood "forgot" his coat. " 5 ," he thought. "I won't need to wear my coat tomorrow!"

They work as a bridge between their dream and reality, so they have energy every day. By working, people get to know each other. By taking part in all kinds of activities, they find friendship and warmth. This is helpful to health. The loss(丧失) of work means the loss of everything. It makes people down and it will cause more illnesses.

Besides, work makes one feel hopeful and proud. When a writer finishes his writing or a doctor successfully operates on a patient or a teacher sees his students grow, they are very happy.

Driverless(无人驾驶) helpers

You can see different kinds of driverless cars at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. For example, when you feel tired, you can have a rest in a driverless minibus. When you feel hungry, you can buy food from a "driverless car store". Another kind of driverless car can even send things to you just like a postman. They help to make the Games a bigger success.

Space classes

On March 23, 2022, three Chinese astronauts gave their second lecture(课程) from Tiangong space station. They did several experiments(实验). They also showed some tools to study science. The three astronauts gave their first lecture last December. Millions of students watched them and learned many fantastic science facts.

3D photos

This May, a middle school in Beijing used 3D­printing technology to print graduation photos(毕业照) for Grade 9 students. Students can touch the "faces" of their classmates. This technology can also help blind students "see" their classmates.

Yan Ning, a famous Chinese biologist(生物学家), said that she would return to the motherland from the USA. What {#blank#}1{#/blank#} news it was!

Yan was born in Jinan, Shandong. She used to be an excellent {#blank#}2{#/blank#} at Tsinghua University. After graduating(毕业), she went to Princeton University for further study. In 2007, at the age of 30, Yan returned to Tsinghua University and became one of the {#blank#}3{#/blank#} professors(教授) there. In 2017, Yan decided to join Princeton University {#blank#}4{#/blank#} and worked there for 5 years. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} she was there, Yan got a number of prizes for her great work.

On November 1st, 2022, when the 45- year- old scientist was speaking at a meeting in Shenzhen, she said she would {#blank#}6{#/blank#} Princeton and return to China. She wanted to {#blank#}7{#/blank#} set up the Shenzhen Medical Academy of Research and Translation. It became a hot topic online." Yan Ning, welcome back to China!" This might be the {#blank#}8{#/blank#} that Chinese people wanted to say to her most.

 Last Saturday, we went to Yan' an Revolutionary Memorial Hall(延安革命纪念馆) with our teacher. We had great fun taking the bus and talking with our friends in such fi ne weather. It took us about half an hour to get there. We spent all day visiting there. I was excited to learn more about the history of this place.

 There are nine revolutionary memorial halls. Revolutionists (革命先辈) left a lot of important things there. So it is a very important revolutionary place. After listening to the guide, we knew a lot about the history and spirit (精神) of Yan' an. They are so great. I want to know more from this visit.

 In one of the halls, Ma Mei, my classmate, used her phone to take videos (视频) and photos of the old things. She wanted to show these videos to her parents. I also took some photos. I wanted to tell some stories to my younger sister, because I was really moved (感动) by Yan' an spirit. We live a happy life now because of these revolutionists, so we must show our thanks to them by studying hard for a more beautiful country.
