Marvel is one of the most popular companies in the world. As early as 1939, a  {#blank#}1{#/blank#}called Motion Pictures Funnies Weekly was on and Namor the Sub-Mariner was the first superhero in Marvel. So far, these have been many famous superheroes. Among them, I like Iron man best. In Iron Man I . he is a  {#blank#}2{#/blank#} person with lots of money. Because he has experienced dangerous situation, he  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}to protect himself and other people with his wisdom(智慧). After he makes this important decision, he spends most of his free time  {#blank#}4{#/blank#}battle suits with high-tech. From then on, he starts to do good thing around the world  {#blank#}5{#/blank#} . In the end of the movie, he reveals his identity to the whole world in an interview.

International(国际的) Nurses Day falls on May 12 every year. It is in memory of the birth of Florence Nightingale. Who was this lady?

Nightingale was one of the most important health workers in history. During a war(战争)in the 1850s，she worked with other nurses to care for English soldiers(士兵). She set many important rules for health care. Because of her habit of making rounds(巡诊) at night，people called her "the Lady with the Lamp(灯)". Later in 1860，Nightingale opened a health care school in London. She trained many excellent nurses in this school. 

Every year on this festival for nurses，a special activity is held in London. A lamp is handed from one nurse to another. This means that knowledge is passed from one nurse to another. 

Nurses make up more than half of all health workers，but there are still 5. 9 million more nurses needed in the world. The terrible disease(疾病) has reminded us of the importance of nurses. Without nurses and other health workers，we wouldn't be able to fight against diseases successfully. 

There were many famous inventors and scientists in history. You must have heard about a lot of them and known them well. But you may not know Nikola Tesla. 

Nikola Tesla and his inventions were well- known to people in the area of science and electricity, but not quite known to the general public today. Nikola Tesla was a Serbian- born inventor, who later moved to the US. He was most well- known for his inventions in the area of electricity and electrical engineering. He was considered one of the greatest electrical engineers in history. 

Why was Nikola Tesla not well- known while others in his time became so famous to the public? Some said Nikola Tesla failed to make the right business decisions. Others said it was because of his "mad scientist" qualities (特质) — the same qualities that helped him come up with some of his best ideas. His qualities led him to many strange ideas. Towards his last years, he came up with many ideas that seemed unacceptable to the public at that time. He worked very hard on them, which made people think he was mad. 

Many of Tesla's inventions and patents (专利) didn't end up being used in the exact way he had planned for them. Some of those include his high- frequency lighting ideas, wireless power and the free energy receiver.
