Do you know how to learn a new language quickly? The best way is to put yourself in the language.

Talk with a native speaker(讲母语的人).People often spend too much time learning grammar. However, speaking with a native speaker can help people learn better. If a friend around you can speak the language you plan to learn, try to ask him or her for help. If it's hard to find such a person in your real life, you can make a pen friend online. Of course, you can travel to a country where the language is spoken. It doesn't matter whether you speak the language well or not. When you communicate in it, you are improving your speaking.

Use the language as much as you can. People often say they have learnt a language for many years, but their speaking is still not fluent (流 畅 的). In fact, they perhaps speak the language for only a few hours a week in these years. If you want to learn a new language quickly, remember to use it every day. If you can save your break time, you can learn extra (额外的) 20 or 30 words a day.

A big reason for fashion anxiety is fashion bullying. As fashion magazines and advertisements show the "latest and greatest" trends, there's a lot of pressure on people, especially on teenagers, no matter how much it will cost. "The need to belong in groups is very important to young learners and exclusion is something they see as the end of the world, " said Andy Cranham

Another reason is that young people may not have a sense of self﹣identity. It seems that they feel anxious about their dressing, but actually they themselves are not confident enough. They care about how fashionable people look at them. They easily doubt themselves. The truth is that those people usually don't notice them at all. 

Fashion trends come and go, always changing. Instead of following, the key is to find your own style. If you're able to wear clothes with confidence, dressing is only a part of your appearance. It can't tell the true you. What really matters is your personality and abilities.

Running a marathon(马拉松) is not easy. To run a marathon you have to run over 42 km! Think about it this way: 42 km is the same as running around a football field(足球场) more than 100 times. It takes most people about four or five hours to finish.

30-year-old Lea Tambellini has run more than five marathons before and doesn't want to stop. Her parents have a strong love for marathons and when she was 22， they helped her train for her first marathon.

Lea ran her first marathon in Cincinnati, Ohio, US. "I worried a lot about the race," she said, "but my mum ran with me. That helped."Running the race was hard, but the hardest part was when she ran past a restaurant and smelled(闻到)hamburgers. "I just wanted to stop," she said,"but my mum kept me running."

To get ready for one of the marathons, Lea ran four to five times a week. On weekdays, she ran 8 or 9 km. But at the weekend she ran 20 km, 25 km and 30 km!

"I like training because it is exciting to work hard for something. And I love running with friends," said Lea.

Today, people all over the world have the same hobbies, watch the same movies, and wear the same clothes. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}

In the East, it can take a long time to become someone's friend. People are very close to their friends. When people from the West meet you, they will call you a friend right away. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} When people from the East meet you, they often ask questions. They want to know about your age and your family. To people from the West, these are not polite questions. They don't like to talk about these personal things. 

{#blank#}3{#/blank#} In the East, family is always a part of life. Kids there live with their parents for a long time. They still listen to them after they grow up. 

However, in the West, independence (独立) is very important. Parents prepare their kids for life. Then, after their kids grow up, they say goodbye and leave home.{#blank#}4{#/blank#} They don't have to listen to their parents. 

In the East and in the West, people think differently too. People in the West think about small de tails (细节). They also think less and act more. In the East, people notice (注意) relationships between things. And they often keep their opinions quiet.
