Summer is my good friend.However, we often argued(争吵) on some 1 things. And once we argued again and we stopped talking with each other. Later, our school held a special2 —Winter Play. We both acted in the play. 

At first, we practiced singing and acting without 3 with each other. Then one day, our director Mr. Jackson said to us, "Summer and Grace, I'd like to talk to you after the practice today."

I wondered whether I would be 4 out of the play，so my heart started beating fast. 

But when I 5 heard what Mr. Jackson said after the practice, I was moved! "Girls, you're 6 and I want you two to team up and sing the song together. You can say no, but I 7 you two can do better together."

I thought Summer might say no.To my 8 ， she agreed and we said yes at the same time. Leaving the office, I looked at Summer and she smiled at me and then we had a hearttoheart talk.

We suddenly had an idea to act the song in a 9 way. And it looked like we were arguing. We laughed many times when we practiced. On the day we showed our play, the audience(观众) couldn't 10 laughing at all.

After the play, I realized that through proper communication methods, we could find a surprising way to keep friendship.

When I was young，I was very proud.I liked to show off（炫耀） in front of others to earn their 1 .But after one 2 experience，I came to understand that it's important to be modest（谦虚）. 

One day，my friend and I were riding our bikes in a park.My mother knew I had just learned how to ride for a short time， 3 she asked me to wear some safety equipment. "No，I won't wear 4 !" I said，pointing at my friend's elbows and knees， "She doesn't wear it，either!" "It's dangerous，" my friend said， "You need more practice." "I might have learned 5 than you，but I can ride even better!" I said loudly.She 6 her eyes and said， "Let's wait and see!" 

I saw a path leading into some woods. "I'll race you!" I shouted.Then we rode towards the woods.7 ，the path wasn't as smooth as I thought.I kept bumping（颠簸） up and down，and then suddenly…bam!I fell off my bike.I 8 my elbows and knees bleeding. "Ha—ha!" My friend 9 and helped me up. "Be more careful next time，" she said.Tears ran down my face. "Sorry，" I said. 

All in all，this experience made me realize that we must be 10 .A fall into a pit，a gain in my wit.

"The more you work the land (地), the better your crops (庄稼) will be." That's what our school told us during (在……期间) our Growing Week! 

In the morning, we went to our rooms. Then, our teacher 1 us how to make the bed and where to put our things. At first, we didn't know why we needed to 2 these simple things. But the teacher said, "Even simple things can be 3 until (直到) you know how to do them."

At lunchtime, the teachers told us, "You have to 4 after eating." At first, we didn't do it very well, 5 the teachers showed us the right way to clean them. After that, the dishes looked very clean!

In the evening, the teachers taught us how to 6 rice. We made some mistakes (错误) at first, but 7 , we got it right with lots of hard work! We were so 8 , because we were eating food made by ourselves. That night, we ate all the rice. 

Time went by 9 , and Growing Week ended. I really had a good time and learned a lot. Now, I think it's time for me to help out 10 at home.

When I was in high school, I was in the FIRST Robotics Club. It had {#blank#}1{#/blank#} activities to help students learn about engineering(工程学).

I didn't know what engineering was about,{#blank#}2{#/blank#} I joined the club. My friend Mark {#blank#}3{#/blank#} me to join it, and there I began to learn a lot {#blank#}4{#/blank#} engineering. It is a different way of thinking. It lets students think about how {#blank#}5{#/blank#}a dream come true.

There were about thirty {#blank#}6{#/blank#} in the club and we were in six groups. Once the teacher asked us to make {#blank#}7{#/blank#} own(自己的) robots in a month. At first I thought it was impossible, {#blank#}8{#/blank#} we made it finally and then we took part in the competitions(竞赛). My group won the first prize. It was so {#blank#}9{#/blank#}!

I'm a college student now and I am in some clubs, but I really {#blank#}10{#/blank#} my FIRST Robotics: I think it is the best {#blank#}11{#/blank#}.

Sanjiangyuan is home to the headwaters of the Yangtze,Yellow and Lancang rivers.In 2016,China began the pilot operation of Sanjiangyuan National Park.In October 2021,the government named Sanjiangyuan a national park:2023 marks the ;20th anniversary of Sanjiangyuan National Nature Reserve's setup.

Tsewang Gyaltsen,is an environmental protection worker in Qinghai province. He said,"Because of illegal mining(非法采矿)activities,a large part of our land was desertified(荒漠化).It is so harmful to the environment that it is hard to make it. green again"

The government,local people and social organizations have all worked hard and taken action to solve this problem.The government is continuing to improve the ecological(生态的)protection management system.The local people have also.make efforts to the environmental protection of Sanjiangyuan.They used to carry food with them in plastic bags and left the bags behind.But now they are regularly called on to pick up waste on the grasslands.The organizations Tsewang Gyaltsen has been working for is also devoted to organizing nature education.They often take teenagers to mountains and lakes to help them pay more attention to environmental protection.Thanks to these efforts,Sanjiangyuan is now green,vibrant and peaceful and a true heaven for wild animals."We hope more people can take part in the environmental protection of Sanjiangyuan and make it even better."Tsewang Gyaltsen said.
