How can we practice our {#blank#}1{#/blank#}English?

The first and the most important thing is to believe {#blank#}2{#/blank#}.You should always be full of confidence，or you won't be able to improve your English.You should often encourage yourself，"Come on！Don't be afraid！"You should never lose heart and never give {#blank#}3{#/blank#}.

Maybe you are afraid of losing face，but you should think since we are students and we're {#blank#}4{#/blank#}，there's no need to worry {#blank#}5{#/blank#}anything.You must always be active in practice.It's no problem that your pronunciation and intonation (语调) can't be as good {#blank#}6{#/blank#}the native people because we are Chinese，and we don't have chances to live in {#blank#}7{#/blank#}countries and talk with the people there.But you must know that the main way to study English is to make ourselves understood and {#blank#}8{#/blank#}other people.You should believe that native speakers will not laugh at you，but {#blank#}9{#/blank#}they will encourage you.So if you {#blank#}10{#/blank#}brave enough，you'll certainly make rapid progress in your spoken English.

Don't be shy or afraid！Just have a try.

Learning is a lifelong journey. We all want to know how to learn much{#blank#}1{#/blank#} （well）. I hope my advice can help you a little. 

First, have some learning plans before exams. This could be from one month to six {#blank#}2{#/blank#} （month）. It depends on the{#blank#}3{#/blank#} （important） of the exam. If you are learning {#blank#}4{#/blank#} the final exam, you should make a one—month plan. 

Second, think about{#blank#}5{#/blank#} （you）environment. Make sure the place where you are going to learn is comfortable with enough light. However, if you are the kind of person that likes listening to music while learning, you have to find out what kind of music {#blank#}6{#/blank#}（work） best for you. {#blank#}7{#/blank#} （general） speaking, you can also choose{#blank#}8{#/blank#} （classic） music instead of pop or rock music. 

Third, have enough rest. Your mind will work less effectively {#blank#}9{#/blank#} you learn for too long Many people suggested learning{#blank#}10{#/blank#} hour with a ten-minute break. 

Every one of us should have at least one or two good friends. Your friends will listen to you when you speak, will look after you when you don't feel well, and will always be together with you in your life. Everyone needs friends. Friendship(友谊) can make us happier. How can we find a good friend and get on well with each other? Here is some advice.

★Make friends with a person who is easy to get on with.

★You should make friends with a person who has something in common with you.

★Give your friend a hand when he or she has problems. Friends should always help each other.

★Believe in(相信) each other. This is the most important thing in a friendship.

★Even the best friends may have a quarrel sometimes. And you may say something bad to hurt (伤害) him or her. If this happens, don't let your quarrel last too long. Try to make up with your friends soon.

Friendship is a kind of treasure(财富) in our life. It is like a bottle(瓶) of wine(酒). The longer it is kept, the better it will be.

Damien Baxter is very happy. He has fourteen brothers and sisters! They never fight(打架) with each other.

The Baxter family live in a house in Western Australia. Their house has seven bedrooms and many beds. It is a big house with many children in it.

The Baxter family are very busy. There's lots of work to do in the house. When a child is eight years old, he or she starts to help with the housework. In the Baxter family, children are happy to help parents with the housework. But Damien doesn't have work to do, because he is only three years old.

The family doesn't have a car. But Damien's dad has a bus. It has eighteen seats. Damien's dad drives his children to school or work.

What a nice and happy family!

A student asked his teacher, "Sir, I have a question. How many friends should a man have, one or many?"

"It is very easy, " the teacher answered. "Get me that red apple from the highest(最高的) branch(树枝) of the tree. " The student looked up and said, "It's too high! I can't get it."

"Ask a friend to help. " the teacher said.

 The student called a friend and stood on his shoulders(肩膀) for the branch. "I still can't get it, Sir, " said the student sadly after the first try.

"Don't you have more friends? " the teacher smiled. The student asked more friends to come over. They stood on each other's shoulders, trying to make a pyramid(金字塔) to get higher. But the student still couldn't get the apple. Then one of the friends went home, brought a ladder(梯子) and the student finally got the apple.

 After getting the apple, the teacher asked, "So, do you know how many friends a man needs?"

"I do," the student said. "Many, so together we can work out any problem."

"Sounds good, " the teacher said. "You need as many friends as you can. Among( 在······之中) them, there will be at least(至少) one clever man. He can think of a good idea, like getting a ladder!"
