Strawberries look nice, but a light pressure can make them out of shape. Nowadays there are many young people who are just like strawberries. They easily break down when they face difficulties. They don't know what to do when they are in trouble. They have a common name—strawberry kids. 

Why are many students so easy to break down? Parents and schools are a main reason. Parents do almost everything for them in their daily life, while schools care more about their grades instead of developing their personality (个性). Liu Yue, 13, is from Fujian. His mom hardly criticizes (批评) him and he always feels good about himself. When a teacher criticized him strictly, he felt surprised and sad. He began to doubt his ability. 

Students should do something to make themselves mentally strong. An expert said, "When you are in trouble, don't ask for help too quickly. You should try to deal with problems first by yourself. I also advise you to take an active part in sports and social activities. That can make you mentally strong. 

Growing up is not just a happy process (过程). Pains also go along with it. The most important thing is to face

the pains bravely and learn from them. 

What do people do with their old, out of date but still useful computers? Most people don't know how to deal with them. Many old computers are put away. Many more are simply thrown away as rubbish.

Finally, some companies are thinking of ways to bring down the number of old computers. Sony has agreed to help recycle old Sony products(产品). Dell, Hewlett Packard and other companies now also take back some old computers of their own brands.

In some countries, laws have been passed, too. Computer companies have to pay for collecting and recycling their used products. And 70% of computer waste must be recycled. The idea behind the laws is that computer companies themselves should pay for the cost. That will encourage them to make computers which are easier and cheaper to repair and upgrade(升级).

Yet many people are throwing away good computers, while others cannot afford them at all. Hundreds of organizations are working on this problem. They collect and repair old computers. Some also teach others how to repair computers. These repaired computers then go to schools, charities(慈善团体) or people who need them. Giving a used computer to one of these organizations can turn one person's rubbish into someone else's useful things and cut down waste, too.

True friends are hard to find. Often you thought you could believe in someone, but later he or she may let you {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. A true friend is sometimes a person who will always be there for you. Through good times or {#blank#}2{#/blank#} times, they will stand by your side. They will not {#blank#}3{#/blank#} you alone when things get difficult. They will accept you {#blank#}4{#/blank#} trying to change you. A friend will bring new and exciting things into your life and make it richer. True friends will keep your worst secrets as you will keep theirs. They will {#blank#}5{#/blank#} honest and you can always believe in them. If you talk to someone who you believe in, you don't have to worry about what you may say. We can enjoy this freedom only with {#blank#}6{#/blank#}. Friendship is a two¬way street. To find a true friend and keep the friendship between you, you must do the {#blank#}7{#/blank#} thing as well. Be there for your friends when {#blank#}8{#/blank#} are in need and share the good times with them. Offer them the same things they give to you. Friendship will break quickly if only one person is giving and putting effort into it. You will find that there is nothing more valuable (有价值的) than having {#blank#}9{#/blank#} true friend by your side to share life with, just {#blank#}10{#/blank#} someone says, "There is nothing on this earth more to be prized (珍惜) than true friendship".
