Buy a ticket to the Disgusting Food Museum in Sweden, and you'll find it is not printed on a piece of paper.

"Instead, it is a vomit(呕吐) bag with our logo,"said Samuel West, who set up the museum. It was a joke. But it sounds reasonable in some ways. Inside the museum, the foods with some of the world's most terrible smells are on display. Walking around in it, someone may want to vomit.

Yet making people vomit is not West's purpose. "I want people to know that disgust is always in the eye of the visitors," said West. "We usually find things we're not familiar with disgusting."For example, the tree-ant larvae (幼虫) eaten in Mexico.

There are nearly 80 dishes in the museum. They come from Asia, Europe, the United States, Central and South America, Africa and Australia.

West wants people to know that disgust isn't just about taste or smell. It's also about the way the food is made. In the museum, some foods might taste pretty good, but are made in a terrible way. Those include French foie gras (鹅肝酱). This dish needs to feed ducks or geese with force. Another example is the monkey brain(脑). It is said that in some places, people eat the brain while the animal still lives.

West hopes that the museum will help people rethink what is delicious food. He also wants to encourage people to try more food that are environmentally friendly.

Do you know the "four treasures of the study" in ancient China? They are the writing brush, ink, paper, and the inkstone (砚台) . Among all the inkstones, the Chengni inkstone is one of the most famous inkstones and is widely loved. 

The Chengni inkstone first appeared during the Western Han Dynasty, but the skills of making it were lost during the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty. Thankfully, today the traditional skills have been revived (复习) with the help of Lin Yongmao and his son Lin Tao. 

In 1984, Lin Yongmao began working at the museum in Xinjiang, Shanxi Province. There he read some books about the Xinjiang Chengni inkstone, and then decided to revive the lost skills. 

It was easier said than done. It took the father and son two years to find proper materials to produce the Chengni inkstone. That was just the first step. After failing many times, they finally succeeded in making two Chengni inkstones in 1991. Three years later, their Chengni inkstones won a gold prize at an expo (博览会) on China's famous inkstones. 

But the father and son didn't stop there. While improving the skills of making the Chengni inkstone, they set up a workshop in the hope of passing the skills on to young people. They also worked with universities and colleges to make the Chengni inkstone more popular. At the same time, Lin Tao has created special Chengni inkstone products and brought them to competitions at home and abroad to expand the influence of the Chengni inkstone. 

Billy always loved blueberries. They were his favorite fruit. Today he was going to make juice with his uncle. His uncle liked to make juice out of everything. He made carrot juice, apple juice, vegetable juice, and more juices. He had never made blueberry juice before though!

First, Billy and his uncle went to a blueberry farm. They were each given a basket. They picked for an hour and got several pounds. It was hard work picking the little berries from the trees. Now Billy understood why they were expensive in the store.

Next, they had to wash the fruit. Some of them still had leaves. Those had to be pulled off. Then the bad berries had to be thrown away. They washed the berries and made them air-dry.

After that, they pushed the blueberries through a strainer (过滤器). The strainer caught most of the seeds and skins, and only left a small glass of dark purple juice to them.

When they tasted the juice, it wasn't very sweet. Billy's uncle didn't want to add white sugar (糖) to the juice. It was better to use a naturally sweet juice, like apple juice, pear juice, or grape juice. They use grape juice as a sweetener, because grapes had a similar color to the blueberries.

Finally, they could drink it. It was a lot of work to make juice, but it sure was refreshing!

Around the world more and more people are taking part in dangerous sports and activities. I would consider bungee jumping（蹦极）to be a good example of such an activity. You jump from a high place, 200 meters above the ground with an elastic（有弹性的）rope tied to your ankles. You fall at up to 150 kilometers an hour until the rope stops you from hitting the ground. It is said that about 2 million people around the world have now tried bungee jumping. Other activities which most people would say are as risky as bungee jumping include jumping from tall buildings and diving into the sea from the top of high cliffs（悬崖）. 

Why do people take part in such activities? Some psychologists suggest that it is because life in modern society has become safe and boring. 

Nowadays, according to many people, life offers little excitement. They live and work in comparatively safe conditions （条件）：They buy food in shops; and there are doctors and hospitals to look after them if they become ill. The answer for some of these people is to look for danger in activities such as bungee jumping. 

Do you like listening to mom？You may say no. Lately，scientists know the reason for it. They find that kids' brains （大脑） enjoy their mothers' words. But when they get older，they like listening to friends' words. 

A scientist named Danel Abram scan （扫描） students' brains （ages from 7 to 16）. When they listen to mothers' words，their brains are active. Students aged 7-12 years answer mom's words more actively. But starting from ages 13 to 14，students talk more with friends. 

Why is this？First，when we grow up，we have more time to study and play with friends，so we think what other people think is more important. Second，this is a time when we think and see the world in our own eyes.
