Every living thing needs to reproduce（繁殖）. Reproducing means creating more members of your group. In order for plants to reproduce, they have to spread their seeds（种子）to other areas. Plants have developed all kinds of ways to do this.

The simplest way is gravity（重力）. Many seeds are inside of fruit. When fruit gets too heavy, it falls from a tree to the ground. Sometimes animals will pick up the fruit and drop it in another area. That helps move the seed even farther away. Apples spread this way.

Other plants use wind to spread their seeds. Dandelions（蒲公英）are a good example of this. Dandelion seeds are so light that when wind blows, it carries dandelion seeds to new places. Maple（枫树）seeds also use wind. Their seeds are connected with long, thin leaves that look like wings. When the seed falls from the tree, its "wings" help it fly farther from the tree.

Some animals help plants spread their seeds. The animals eat the seeds. While the seed is in the animal's body, it stays whole. When the seed leaves the animal, it's in a new place.

Ants also help spread seeds. Some seeds have a special smell that appeals to ants. The ants bring the seeds back to their home, which of course is underground. They only eat part of the seed. They leave the rest of the seed underground. After that, the seed can start growing.

When buying a house, most people hope to have nice neighbors. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} People may have different answers (答案). Here are my answers. 

Good neighbors should respect (尊重) each other. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} It's good to greet (和……打招呼) each other. We should never try to learn about others' lives. 

•Good neighbors are always kind-hearted. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} If we are not at home, our good neighbors will keep eyes on our houses. 

•Good neighbors should keep the environment (环境) clean. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. Keep the floor clean. 

Everyone wants to live a happy life. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} As students, we should all learn to be good neighbors.

Perhaps you've already watched or heard about Readers, a TV show that has recently become popular on CCTV, which is hosted by Dong Qing. It invites different people to read aloud on the stage and tell their moving stories. They can read everything, like poems, books, letters and so on.

Many people are fans of the show and fall in love with reading aloud at home. Now the show gives people special reading pavilions（亭子） to read in some big cities of China, but every pavilion is so small that only one person can come into it each time. Everyone can read what they like for three minutes in the pavilion. Later the show will pick out some of the readers and invite them to read on TV.

Thanks to the wonderful TV show on CCTV, the young are becoming more and more interested in Chinese traditional culture.
