Bruce is a student. He lives in New Zealand. He likes sports. He can play football. He likes swimming and doing kung fu. Bruce wants to be a coach like his father. His home is near the school, so he goes to school on foot.

Bruce has a happy family. His father works in a gym. He goes to work by bike. It's good exercise for him. Bruce's mother is a beautiful doctor. She likes dancing. She goes to the hospital by car.

The village school is old but clean. Trees and flowers are every-where. There 1 only two small buildings and a small playground.Students can 2 on the playground. They often play 3 there after school. Beside the playground, there is a garden. Students often grow vegetables and fruit at school. They tell me the food is very 4 . I 5 like to have lunch at the village school.

Mrs Mark: I got what I wanted that day. My son gave me a book of poems. He wrote it himself. My daughter bought a scarf for me and wrote me a Mother's Day card. They also made me bread for breakfast. My husband took us to the movies.

Mrs Judy: I woke up with the music. I knew this day would be nothing special(特殊的) for me. However, I was wrong. My husband gave me a day off! He did the dishes, took care of the children and played with them. In the evening, he took us out for a delicious dinner. They gave me 4 hours of computer playtime. I felt very warm.

Mrs Jane: My one-year-old son and I went to my mother's house on Mother's Day. After a nice lunch, we spent half the day driving. When we got home, my husband made me dinner. He set up a picnic on the living room floor. It was with candles, cold wine and Mother's Day cards from both him and our son, Jackson. It was a very nice Mother's Day for me!

If there is no rain

We all know that water is very important （重要的）for people, animals and plants. Rain is also very important in our life.

If there is no rain, we will have no water to drink. If there is no rain, we will have no water to brush our teeth. If there is no rain? we will have no water to take a shower.

If there is no rain, the farmers will have no water to water the crops （庄稼）and vegetables. The crops and vegetables will die. We will have no food to eat. The cooks in the restaurants will have no water to cook food. Firemen will have no water to put out the fire. So rain is very important for us.
