E{#blank#}3{#/blank#}fast food can help working people and students to get back to work as quickly as possible. Besides, many love the look, smell and {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(味道) of it. It is often cheaper than other kinds of restaurant food, so the {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(大的) advantage is the price.

On the other hand, many people feel that fast food is unhealthy because it has a lot of unhealthy ingredients. In f{#blank#}6{#/blank#}, some even think that it is addictive(上瘾的) because of these ingredients, and a{#blank#}7{#/blank#}because fast food companies advertise so much. They believe fast food will make people even fatter.

In a word, there are b{#blank#}8{#/blank#}advantages and disadvantages of fast food. As far as I'm concerned, I I{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(更喜欢) the saying that it can be a good thing, as long as people do not have it too often, have plenty of fruit and {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(蔬菜), and also do plenty of exercise to keep in shape.

An Interview with Andy Griffiths

Andy Griffiths is well known as a writer of children's books. Here are some interesting things you might not know about him.

What do you like to do after a long day of writing?

I go for long runs and bike rides beside the beach. An hour of exercise after a long day of writing gives me energy. Then I'm ready to write some more.

Do you write using a computer or by hand?

At first write the stories by hand, and then transfer (转录) them onto computer. I like to write by hand when travel. I find it very easy to lose myself in my diary when I am away from my usual activities.

What super power would you like to have?

X-ray-vision (影像) if can control it.

What is your favorite food?

I'm never happier than when I'm drinking banana milkshakes. And I love fish. But I don't like drinking fish milkshakes. They are just terrible!

What is your favorite book?

Alice in Wonderland. It has so many surprises and such silliness in it.

Do you write for adults too?

Only if I really have to. I much prefer the freedom and fun of writing for children.

What do you say to kids who say,"Why should I read?"

As Dr. Seuss says, "The more you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you'll go."

Sometimes it can be very difficult to predict(预测) the result of your exams, whether you are in a secondary school or even a university. This is probably because exams are one of the most anxious things in education for students. Whether a student is confident in their abilities or not，exams can be often both predictable(可预测的) and unpredictable. If the worst does happen, failing the exams can be one of the most disappointed experiences for students, especially when they were not expecting to fail their exams. 

One way to deal with exam failure is to talk to people. Talk to your family, talk to your friends, discuss with them what you can do to get good grades. One thing you must remember is that failing your exams is not the end of the world. Exam failure is one of the many difficulties you'll have to overcome(克服) in your life, and there are always possibilities to learn from failure. After all, I' m sure most of you have heard of a famous saying, "Failure makes you stronger". Actually, it is really true. It gives you an understanding of what it means to fail, to lose, to receive a negative result that you may not have expected to get. In addition, from failure, you can learn why you fail. Then, next time, you can avoid this mistake, and can get better grades.

There is a bamboo weaving (竹编) club in Sanzao Central Primary School of Zhuhai. Bamboo weaving is one of Chinese traditional skills (传统技艺). The teachers in the club are local craftsmen (当地的手艺人). The students can use bamboo to make many beautiful things like paintings and animals.

Cheng Yangyi and his classmates join the club. He wants to make a bamboo fan."I must be very careful," he said. The thin strips (竹条) are too close or too far from each other. When he puts them together, he often makes mistakes (错误). Then he starts again and again." Sometimes I am angry, but I don't stop. After I finish my work, I jump happily. My classmates all come to see the fan and feel surprised." Cheng said." It's nice to learn and know more about Chinese traditional culture when I'm trying to make things with bamboo."
