Hand in Hand

Hello, everyone. I am Amy. This is my new friend Sally from the village school. She lives near a nature park. The nature park is big. There are two lakes in the park. She often goes boating there on the weekend. She gets up early and goes to bed early every day. Sally doesn't watch TV or play with a computer too much. She thinks it's not good for her eyes. She likes sports. She often swims and plays ping-pong. These sports make her strong.Sally also eats lots of vegetables and fruit. She likes fruit but not bananas.

Sally is hard-working, too. Her English is not good. She often asks me for help. She doesn't go out to play on Fridays because she has English after school on that day. She studies hard.

It's Children's Day today. Every student is happy. They bring(带来)many toys to the classroom and have a toy show. There is a small toy car on the desk. It can run very fast.It's Peter's favourite toy. Lily has a lovely doll. It's on the chair. The doll has yellow hair and blue eyes. It has a dress. Look at the toy plane on the shelf. Mike says it can fly. There is a man in it .And there is a toy boat on the desk. It's not big, but it's new. Linda likes it very much. There are so many toys. They are all beautiful. The students play with the toys happily.

Mike goes to school from Monday to Friday. His favourite day is Monday. On Monday, he has maths, English, music and PE. Maths is his first class. He often answers the teacher's questions. In English class, he reads many English stories. He plays the piano or sings songs in music class. In the afternoon, he has PE. He likes PE best. He sometimes plays football in the playground. He's not good at running. But he plays football well.

I had a funny afternoon today. I went to my friend Ann's home at 2:30. Her home is not far, so I went on foot. But Ann was not at home. There was a bookstore near Ann's home. So I read some magazines there. At 6:00, Ann came back. "Linda!What are you doing? We are going to have the Christmas party on Sunday. It's Saturday today!"

You see? I'm going to have a party again tomorrow. This Sunday will be a busy and happy day. In the morning, I'm going to see a film in the cinema. Near the cinema, there is a big supermarket. I'm going to buy some gifts there. In the afternoon, I'm going to Ann's home for the Christmas party again. We are going to have fun time there!
