Sandy is a taxi driver in London.She tells us about her work and some of her experiences.

 I've been a taxi driver for about five years.Before that，I was a bus driver in London，and I enjoyed it，but I wanted to be more independent，so I changed and started driving my taxi.

 Have you ever had any famous passengers？

 Oh yes.I've had film stars，politicians，you know，some famous people.About a year ago，a really famous actor got into my taxi.I took him to the airport.There was 2

traffic and we spent a long time getting there，so he missed his plane.It wasn't my fault but when he got out of the taxi，he said some things that were not very 3

 to me!I said to him， "Next time，take a bus!"

 Have passengers ever 4 anything in your taxi？

 Oh yes，all kinds of things in here，a suitcase，a hat，mobile phones of course，even a dog once!Years ago，a woman forgot a pair of shoes on the back seat.And one time some teeth here!Not real teeth of course，false teeth.And people have asked me to do some strange jobs.Once a doctor stopped me outside a hospital and asked me to take a skeleton （骨架）.to the hospital in the countryside.And I did.But I asked the doctor to pay 5 — the skeleton couldn't pay after all.

 What's the worst part of your job？

 Good question.I've always enjoyed being a taxi driver.But of course，sometimes，it's not great.I don't like driving around without a passenger，but it's better than just waiting for passengers at the airport or at a railway station.

I have two children. I love them both and they both{#blank#}1{#/blank#}. me. They have different hobbies. My daughter likes singing，and she is very good at{#blank#}2{#/blank#}. She can{#blank#}3{#/blank#} many English songs. Listen, she is singing an English song in her room now. `My son likes making model ships, and he is very good at making model ships. He can{#blank#}4{#/blank#} very nice model ships. Look, he is{#blank#}5{#/blank#} a big model ship in the living-room.

Chinese is one of the official languages(官方语言) in Singapore. There are many Chinese clubs at schools. Many students in Singapore can speak Chinese.

Three meals are very important (重要) for our health. Breakfast is the most (最) important in a day. For breakfast, we can have some bread, an egg and a glass of milk. I don't like junk food. Every morning, I eat an egg and a glass of milk. Egg is my favorite food. For lunch, we can eat rice, noodles, meat and vegetables. I like rice with some meat and vegetables. Sometimes I eat beef noodles. Vegetables are very useful (有用的) for our body. For dinner, we can eat digestible (易消化) food.Ⅰeat little (少量的) meat and some vegetables. And I don't eat too much. I also eat some fruits. They are healthy for me.
