Our eating habits are very important for good health. Many people like eating sweets and ice-cream more than meat and rice. Sweets and ice-cream are not bad for stomach if we eat them at the end of a meal. But if we eat them before a meal, they may take away our appetite. It is important for us to eat our meals at the same time every day. When we feel hungry, it is said that our body needs food. When we feel angry or excited, we may not want to eat.

A long time ago, in England, some judges used to decide whether a person was telling truth by giving him some dry bread. If the person could swallow the bread, it showed that he was telling the truth. Though this seems rather strange and foolish, it is indeed a way to find out the truth, sometimes. A person worrying about something has much difficulty in swallowing anything dry. Because he is worrying, he loses his appetite and does not want to eat.

Mini school brings fun

When the COVID-19 pandemic spread in the US, all students stayed at home. Lily opened a mini 'school' for her sister, Lucy and Lucy's best friend, Karen, in a garage（车库）.

After dusting the cobwebs（蜘蛛网）and sweeping the floor, the garage was finally clean enough. Later,Lily brought in a few tables and chairs, lots of paper, a whiteboard and a bag of markers（马克笔）.

The class began every day at about 3:00 in the afternoon till evening. Karen's mother, Emma, paid Lily $1 a day and Lily's mom did the same thing. When Lucy and Karen first arrived, Lily taught the girls how to count numbers. She also drew many pictures on paper with a black marker to teach the girls how to color.

They did different activities every day. One time, they drew pictures of themselves on the paper plates， decorated（装饰）them and put them on the wall. During the break，they played in the driveway. Sometimes, other friends joined in the fun until the moon lit the dark night sky.

Lily really enjoyed being a teacher and she hopes she can get more chances（机会）to teach soon!

Three explorers (探险家), an English, an American and an Australian were lost in jungle (丛林). They had left their homes six months before to explore the jungle and got lost. They had no food left, and they were ill and weak. They knew that if they did not find a village soon, they would die. Then during the night, they were visited by a jungle spirit (神灵). "I am the spirit of the jungle," it said. "I feel sorry for you. You may have three wishes. " "Does that mean three wishes each, or three wishes among us?" the American explorer asked. "I will give each of you one wish," the jungle spirit said. The English explorer who was very polite, said to the American and the Australian explorers, "Please you wish first." The Australian explorer, who was almost as polite as the English explorer, said, "Please you wish first. ""Very well, " the English explorer said, "I don't have to think for a minute. I know exactly what to wish for. I wish to be back home with my wife and family " Soon he disappeared. "That's wonderful," the Australian explorer said. "My wish is similar. I'd like to be back in Australia." Soon he disappeared, too. 

 The American was left alone. "And what's your wish?" the jungle spirit asked him. "Those two explorers are nice men," the American explorer said. "We become close friends. To tell the truth, I am feeling rather lonely here without them. I wish they were back here again. "

English houses usually （通常） have living rooms, bedrooms and studies. The kitchens and bathrooms are fully equipped （设备齐全的）. Bedrooms and studies are usually upstairs （在楼上）. Living rooms and kitchens are downstairs （在楼下）. If there are 3 bedrooms, there will be a small bedroom-the box room. Some English houses have basements, gardens and garages （车库）.

Wu Binbin is my good friend. He is a hard-working boy. He goes to school by bike at 7:10 in the morning. He likes studying science. He likes doing kung fu, too. So he is a member of a kung fu club.

Wu Binbin has a robot. His name is Robin. Robin is very clever. He is very kind, too. He likes teaching students to make robots. He has a science club. We can meet him every Wednesday afternoon at 4 o' clock in the club. Do you want to make a robot? Come and meet Robin, please!
