After the boy cats his ice cream, he stands up and goes to the door. "Excuseme. your father did not give the money for the meal, "the waiter stops himand says. "Father? You are wrong. There was a park near my home. But I didn't go there very often because many people said there was nothing special. One afternoon I went into the park. I walked quickly because there wasn't much to see. I walked for some time and found myself standing in front of two paths（小路）, " ▲ " I asked myself. I looked at one path, and then the other. I found that the two paths were different from each other. 

The left one was wide and clean. There were lots of flowers on both sides of the path. Though the flowers weren't very beautiful, they made me feel good. Then I looked at the right one. The path was different from the left one. It didn't look nice. It looked as if it had not been cleaned for months. For a long time, I couldn't decide which path to go along. 

After a while, a strange feeling made me follow the dirty path. It wasn't nice, but I didn't want to give up. At last, I came to the end of the path. To my surprise, there was a small garden. It was beautiful. I thought it was the nicest part of the park. 

Later, I told the others what I had seen in the park, but they just smiled at me without saying a word. I knew they didn't believe me. They couldn't even remember that path because it was so small. 

My trip to the park that day made me learn something about life. Don't be afraid to choose a different path. You may get a big surprise!

 My home town is Moonlight Town. It is close to Sunshine Town. There is1 river in front of my house. In the past, there were many factories by the river. They often put the waste into the river. 2 the clean water became very dirty. And people cut down too many trees 3 more space for tall buildings. Many animals lost4 living areas. Also, people in other places could only walk to my home town because the traffic was not easy. 

 But now, great changes5 because the government has paid attention to the problems and done something to improve the situation. First, factories no longer put the waste into the river. The water is clean. People can sit 6 the river to watch many kinds of fish swim in it again. Second, the government turns a factory into a beautiful park so people 7 relax in it. Third, thousands of trees8 on the mountain. They are becoming homes to many wild animals. Last, it's fast and easy for people to visit my home town by car or bus. 9 great changes!

I believe my home town will be 10 in the future than now. I'm looking forward to it.
