Emily, an eight-year-old girl, is not very {#blank#}1{#/blank#} because she has so many rules to obey every day.  

     At school, she can't arrive {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. She has to get up early in the morning. She {#blank#}3{#/blank#} run or laugh in the hallways and she can't eat or listen to music in class. She agrees {#blank#}4{#/blank#} these rules because they're reasonable. But there are some rules she can't {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. For example, she has to {#blank#}6{#/blank#} her school uniform from Monday to Friday. She can't wear a cap or a hat in the classroom. She can't talk {#blank#}7{#/blank#} in the classroom. She has to {#blank#}8{#/blank#} the blackboard and the classroom once a week.

     She also has to keep some rules at home. For example, she can't hang out {#blank#}9{#/blank#} watch TV after school. She has to finish her homework first. She can't meet friends on school nights. And she has to be in {#blank#}10{#/blank#} by nine o'clock. {#blank#}11{#/blank#} Weekends, she has to clean her room and {#blank#}12{#/blank#} her clothes. And she has to {#blank#}13{#/blank#} her mum do housework. Later she has to go to the Children's Palace to {#blank#}14{#/blank#}dancing. She never has any {#blank#}15{#/blank#}. What an unhappy girl!

    Pandas do not have many babies, maybe only one {#blank#}1{#/blank#} two years. The babies often die {#blank#}2{#/blank#} illnesses and do not live very long. Adult pandas spend more than 12 hours a day eating about 10 kilos of bamboo. Many years ago, there were a lot {#blank#}3{#/blank#} bamboo forests and pandas in China than there are now. But then humans started to cut {#blank#}4{#/blank#} the forests, and there was less bamboo for the pandas. Scientists say there are now fewer than 2,000 pandas living in the remaining forests. Another 200 {#blank#}5{#/blank#} live in zoos or research centers in China and other countries.
