There are more and more tall buildings now. The growth in tall buildings has led {#blank#}1{#/blank#} a great need for window washers. The job is dangerous and {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(accident) happen from time to time. However, the dangerous job may soon be done by Ozmo, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} smart window cleaning robot.

Much like humans, Ozmo sits on platforms hanging from the buildings and uses {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(it) arms and brushes to clean the dirt on the windows. A 3D map of the building {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(allow) the robot to move up and down. The robot can move out of the way {#blank#}6{#/blank#} there are unexpected events, such as the sudden opening of a window. Unlike other window washers, the robot cleaner does not need soap {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(clean) the glass. Instead, it uses distilled water {#blank#}8{#/blank#} does no harm to the environment.

It takes three cleaners 480 hours each to clean the windows of a 40-story glass building but the robot can complete the task in just 80 hours. However, unlike other robots, Ozmo will not replace human workers, only making their jobs much {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(safe). Human workers will control the robot from below.

Whether Qzmo, which is still being tested, does as good a job as humans remains to be seen. Past efforts to use a robot to do this dangerous job have not been {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(success), because the machines do not have the same eyes as humans and often miss the dust collected on window corners.

17-year-old Brennan Agranoff, a colorblind boy, started his custom (定做的) sock business in middle school, with a little money he got from his parents. Up till now, he has sold over $1 million worth of socks online in the last four years.

Brennan thought of the idea for his custom sock company at just 13 years old. He was playing in a high-school basketball game in his hometown, and noticed that many kids of his age were wearing the same white Nike sport socks. The boy told himself if these white simple socks were so popular with kids, then some cool custom designs (设计) would surely be more popular.

But the boy didn't tell his parents about the business idea immediately. He spent six months researching things, like printing machines and technology and writing out a business plan. When he had everything planned out, he asked his parents for some money." They thought the idea was a little out there," Brennan recently told CNN Money, but he kept pushing, and finally got a $3, 000 from his parents to start his company. Then he began to work on his own designs. Though he was colorblind, it didn't stop him and he has created over 200 kinds of designs now.

Business was slow the first year, but then Brennan started pushing his own brand(商标)HoopSwagg socks on the Internet. Orders soon started coming in in large numbers, and HoopSwagg became a popular brand among custom sock lovers. Right now, people can find his designs on HoopSwagg website, Amazon and eBay.

Four years after starting his business, Brennan has achieved great success while balancing(平衡) school, housework and his social life. And he says he loved every minute of it.

Whose idea was Flocabulary?

Blake Harrison, a highschool student, was the first person to come up with the idea ofFlocabulary. The word "Flocabulary" comes from the word "flow" and "vocabulary". "Flow" is a rap word for "style", or the way a rapper says the words of a song. "Vocabulary" means the words you have to learn in a language. How did he get the idea? Well, he realized he could remember the words of a hiphop song very easily. So, why not make lessons into songs? Today together with Alex Rappaport, a song writer, Blake produces hiphop songs for math, science and literature (文学). They are now used in schools with great success.
