When I was in a primary school, I argued with a boy in my class. I forget what the argument was about, but I will never forget the 1I learned that day.

     I thought that I was right and he was wrong.2he thought that I was wrong and he was right. The teacher3 to teach us a very important lesson. She brought us to the front of the class and asked him to stand on one side of her desk and me on 4. In the middle of her desk was a large , round ball. I could5 see that was black . She asked the boy what color the ball was.”White,” he answered.

    As I held my father's hands one night, I couldn't help but notice their calluses(老茧）and roughness. His hands tell the story of his life as a 1 , including all his struggles.

    One summer, I remember, a drought (旱灾）hit Ontario,turning it into a 2 desert.On one og those hot mornings I was picking sweet corn with my dad to fill the last 3 from the grocery store.Fifty dozen was all we needed, which normally took twenty minutes.     Mr Clarke works in a middle school. He likes reading and often1some books from the library. He enjoys2to the radio every morning and reading3after supper. So he knows much and teaches well.
