湖南省郴州市宜章县2023-2024学年八年级下学期4月月考英语试题
Nowadays, some environmental problems appear together with the social development.
Human activities cause many problems. For example, sea level(海平面) has risen 15cm over the past century. The Amazon rainforest has reduced(缩小)by 17% in the last 50 years because farmers cut down the trees for farming. People kill a lot of animals, causing the number of animals to reduce greatly.
The eath's temperature has risen, and it turns more ice(冰) into water, so the oceans and land have hanged, too. Animals and plants can't get used to the change, so some animals and plants are dead. To deal with the problems, we should choose green ways to travel as much as possible. Next, we should reduce waste. What's more, it's a great way to protect some of the land by building nature parks.
I hope everyone could do what they can to make our living environment better.
① Reduce water waste. ② Build more parks. ③ Pick up rubbish at any time.
④ Walk to work. ⑤ Reduce food waste. ⑥ Plant trees.
