Chinese people are so (聪明) that they have (创造) plenty of important (节日), such as the Spring Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Lantern Festival. They also (连接) some (民间) stories with these festivals. On different festivals, we have different kinds of (传统) and we may prepare different (礼物). Of all the festivals, the Spring Festival is of great importance. A few days before the Spring Festival, we are busy getting ready for it. For example, we make (灯笼) to welcome the new year. A popular activity during the Spring Festival is to visit (亲戚) and friends. We say Happy New Year (大声) to each other and exchange lucky money, because we believe it can (增加) love between us. We also always (对待) our relatives and friends with kindness and (温暖).
Another important festival is the Mid-Autumn Festival. On that evening, we have fun eating mooncakes as well as (欣赏) the bright round moon. Although the festivals are different, they have the same meaning—sharing and (传播) love and joy to the people around us.
