Mary is a three-year-old girl. One day, her parents can't find her in the house.

The Humble Administrator's Garden is at178 Dongbei Street, Suzhou City. The garden covers an area of 52,000 square metres and has a history of about 500 years. It is a famous private garden in China. There are many must- see sights in the garden, such as the Lotus Pool(荷花池) and the Yuanxiang Hall. The Lotus Pool is the largest pool in the garden and is full of beautiful lotus flowers. The Yuanxiang Hall is the main building of the garden, and it is also a great place to have a look at the garden.

The Suzhou Garden Museum is the first garden museum in China. It covers an area of3,390 square metres. The museum has five exhibition(展览) halls that show the history,

art, culture and heritage (文化遗产) of Chinese private gardens.

Numbers are beautiful

In Chinese poems, we can also see the beauty of numbers. As Li Bai wrote, "My skiff (小船) has left ten thousand mountains far away", "A thousand miles in one day",— all these numbers show how fast Li Bai traveled and how happy he felt.

Curves(曲线) are beautiful

"Sine curves" are beautiful. They go towards the two opposite directions on and on without ever ending. When you look at them, you may feel like standing by the sea and watching the waves slowly moving. "Tangent curve" is like a waterfall, just as Li Bai wrote, "dashing(猛冲) down three thousand feetfrom on high".

Formulas(公式) are beautiful

There are some amazing formulas. In a right-angled triangle (直角三角形), the square of the longest side is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides. How amazing! Just as Chinese-American mathematician Chern Shingshen said, "Math is fun!"
