Dorothy lived with her uncle Henry and aunt Em who were both farmers.Their house had only four walls，a floor and a small space under the floor to protect them from powerful winds.The house was in the middle of poor land with strong sunlight and few plants.Aunt Em used to be young and cheerful，but the sun and wind had taken away her happiness.Uncle Henry also looked serious and strict.Only Toto，could bring laughter into Dorothy's life.

One day，they heard low sounds of wind from both the north and the south.Uncle Henry realized a strong wind was coming.He rushed to protect the animals while Aunt Em hurried Dorothy to the basement.Suddenly，the house began to rock and rise to the air.In the center，but Dorothy found herself riding safely on the rising house.

Frightened，Toto ran around the room until Dorothy caught him and protected him from falling through the open door.She closed it carefully to avoid further danger.As hours passed，Dorothy slowly got over her fear.She finally fell asleep on her bed with Toto by her side.The wind had set Dorothy's house down gently in a beautiful country.

As she looked around, she saw green grass, fruitful trees, and colourful flowers.Birds with special feathers sang and flew around.As she stood enjoying the beautiful views, a group of strangely dressed people came near. They wore round hats that rose to a small point a foot above their heads. Three men were dressed in blue, and a little woman wore a white dress. They stopped and discussed in a low voice, as if afraid to come farther.

Near Aunt Rabbit's house, there are five apple trees. She always asks her friends to eat her apples.

One day, a little monkey Jim comes. Aunt Rabbit says to him, "Little Monkey, come and have an apple!" Jim is so happy he likes apples very much. He goes up the trees and gets many apples down. He eats very fast. He thinks they're yummy.

The next day, Jim comes again( 又一次). "Aunt Rabbit, my grandpa is ill. He wants to eat some apples. Can you give me some?"

"Sure! There is a bag of apples. You can take it!" she says.

"Thank you!" Jim says happily. But after(在……之后) he leaves Aunt Rabbit's home, he eats all the apples.

After two days, Aunt Rabbit goes to ask for her bag. On the way, she finds some apple pits ( 核 ). "Jim cheats(欺骗) me!" She thinks. Then, she takes them to Jim's home.

After seeing them, Jim's face turns red and he says, "Sorry".

"That's OK. You are still(仍然) welcome to my home." says Aunt Rabbit happily.

The saying that school years are golden years is true for me. I enjoyed them a lot. I shaped me as the person I am today. I owe my life's success to my school days. 

From the first day to the graduation day, my school days are still vivid(生动的) in my memory. Whenever a friend from school contacts me, I am taken back to those happy days of my life. 

My school days were a treasure box of valuable lessons and experiences. I made many good friends at my school. I experienced social skills first-hand. I was taught how to read, write and think critically(批判地). I learnt to play sports and exercise to keep healthy. 

My teachers and my classmates helped me. My teachers taught me much of what I know about life. They shared their experiences and guided me. They were my models of success which I was thirsty for. They helped me in discovering my life's path. They supported, and encouraged me a lot. My classmates were my true partners in all moments of life. They raised me up when I couldn't stand up; they cheered me up when I was down; and they helped me stay on track with class progress when I got sick. I could never have made it through my school days without our friendships. 

All these experiences made my school days golden in my life. I will never forget those happy days.
