①You go home from work. You are tired, you want to turn on the TV and watch something fun. Your children want the same. What is better than a cartoon film?

②In fact, many cartoon films draw adults' attention. For example, Anomalisa, a film for adults, has been a success. And there is also the chance that adults will love a kid's film more, for example, The Incredibles. So, what is the reason(原因) behind it?

③First, a lot of cartoon films are really good. Plenty of gifted people join hands in making films like Toy Story and Ice Age. Screenwriters, programmers and musicians are all working together to bring the best result.

④Also, they bring out the memories(回忆) of our childhood. Remember the time when you were a child, and you used to turn on the TV and enjoy cartoons. Well, cartoon films bring out that special feeling.

⑤Cartoon films have well-written roles facing difficult situations. For example, Woody has to deal with the fact that he may not be Andy's favourite toy in Toy Story. Sometimes the stories are even better than those in adult films. So, it's not surprising that adults will love cartoon films.

⑥Moreover, by watching a cartoon film, we forget the boring life and leave our problems behind for the moment. Who would refuse to have his own personal Baymax (from Big Hero 6), a man who shares a hug every time there was sadness? If only our lives could be full of good-natured animals and brave children!

Once upon a time, there was a spider with the name Anansi. He knew that he was very clever but he also knew he wasn't wise(英明的).He didn't like this, but he did not know what to do. One day he had an idea. He went around the village with a basket and asked each person to give him some of their wisdom (智慧).The people laughed at Anansi because they knew that he needed wisdom the most. So each person put a bit in his basket and wished him good luck.

Soon his basket was full, but Anansi was worried that his neighbors might be jealous (嫉妒) of his wisdom and take it from him. He decided to hide it at the top of a tall tree. He tied the basket to the front part of his body and tried to climb the tree, but it was too difficult. He tried again and again without success.

Then his youngest son walked by. "What are you doing, Father?" he asked and Anansi told him. "Why don't you carry the basket on your back instead?" his son said.

Anansi put the basket on his back and climbed the tree easily, but he wasn't happy."I walked all over the village and collected so much wisdom that I am the wisest person ever, but my baby son is still wiser than me. Take back your wisdom!" he said. And he threw the basket of wisdom into the air and went home. And that's how wisdom went all over the world.

We all want to get along with our friends, family, and other people. We understand that how we act and what we say is important. For example, using polite words such as please and thank you shows that we care about other people's feelings. 

However, we don't always know the right way to act when we are angry or do not agree with others. When these happen, we just think about how angry we feel. We never remember that the problem may have started with a simple mistake, such as gossip（流言蜚语）. For example, when we say untrue things about another person, we hardly know whether that person may feel hurt or angry. But they exactly do. 

Things like gossip often make us unhappy or hurt because we have feelings. Although our feelings are inside us, they sometimes show on the outside. In other words, people can see our happy face. They can hear our angry voice. We also show feelings by the way we act. 

The way we show our feelings is very important when we get along with other people. So share our feelings in clever and proper ways if we feel angry. And how? We can control them. For example, speak calmly, and don't shout. Listen politely and don't interrupt（打断）. Respect （尊敬）the other person's feelings. 

Actions that hurt people make things worse, not better. So we should share our feelings, talk about what we want, and work things out with other people. 

Christopher's mother now is sitting proudly and watching TV as Christopher is given the "Child of Courage" prize by his favorite TV star. This makes her remember the accident happened to them. 

Christopher was sitting in the car with his mother, father, sister Rosie, 10, and brother Mac, 7, when his father drove onto a metal barrier(障碍物). Unluckily, the car fell down from a hill into a deep river. Christopher, then 12, swam through a broken window and got out for the fresh air. Then he realized his brother and sister were still in the car. 

Christopher took a deep breath and swam back into the car. He saved Mac first, then he swam back to look for Rosie, who was under the cold, dark water, in the car. Christopher had to feel for her seatbelt because he couldn't see anything in the water. He took the seatbelt off her, and went up for air. Finally he went back to pull her out of the car. 

Christopher's mother and father were thrown out before the car rolled down the hill. When his mother came back to her life, she looked for her children hurriedly. She could see Mac on the bank, but she couldn't find the other ones. She was so worried. Then she saw Christopher come up out of the water like a dolphin with Rosie on his shoulder. She shouted excitedly to Christopher down to the river, "I'm so proud of you. "

The family called for an ambulance (救护车). It took Christopher's father who was badly hurt to a nearby hospital immediately. 

 On a Saturday night in January, I was making my way to a sleepover at Nathan's house. This was going to be a wonderful adventure as I had never been to his place before. I had received the address, 39 Western Avenue, via text message. As I turned the corner and stepped onto Western Avenue, a large cloud moved in front of the moon, leaving a shadow(阴影) over everything.

 In the dimness, I found it truly hard to see the house numbers clearly. However, not wanting to waste any time, I walked up the driveway of what I thought might be Nathan's house. I rang the bell and waited patiently, expecting someone to open the door and welcome me. But no one came. Thinking that perhaps they hadn't heard the first ring, I rang the bell again. After a few moments of waiting, I realized with a sinking feeling that I had made a mistake. I had gone to number 37 instead of 39.

 Just then, the door of number 37 opened suddenly. The house was completely dark inside, so I could hardly see anything. Suddenly, there was a loud shout and a man rushed past me, running towards the street. Another man quickly followed him. They were in such a great hurry to leave that they dropped most of the things they were carrying. Curiosity(好奇心) getting the better of me, I picked up one of the items so that I could look at it more closely. To my surprise, it was a beautiful brooch. Right then, I understood what had been happening. These men must be thieves! Without hesitation(犹豫),I took out my phone and called the police.

I stood on the doorstep, anxiously waiting for what seemed like a long time. After five or ten minutes had passed, an unmarked police car finally arrived. Two policemen got out of the car. One of them immediately went into the house to look for clues while the other policeman asked me about the thieves. "You did extremely well," he said with admiration. "It was really____▲____ of you to interrupt(打断) those thieves and chase them away." I felt a sense of pride and relief knowing that I had done the right thing.
