    It isn't hard to grow up into a responsible members of society. I can well remember an incident that happens on a rainy Sunday afternoon. I was on my way to the bookstore and was waiting the green light at a crossing when a girl about ten was knocked on by a passing car, it drove off quickly. A man immediately rushed to a girl to give her first aid and I joined in without hesitation. Luckily she was not badly injured but we sent her to the nearest hospital. Comparing with the escaped driver, I am proud of what I did.

    As a member of the society, I am convinced of that being responsible is that it takes to make a better society.

    My friend Mary is interested in Chinese characters. One day she asked for a Chinese character “美” on me paper, “What does this mean?” I told her it means “beauty”. Among the four seasons in a year, summer is my favorite, that makes me free, excited and energy. When summer vacation came every year, we can do all that we can't do during our school time, go shopping with friends, swimming in warm water and even hiking and camping in the deep valleys. These activities lead me to enjoy full free. We can find us in an exciting world every day, with the sun shining bright, trees growing better and flowers coming out of with all kinds of colors. Summer makes me full of energy and we feel I have the strength to do most difficult things in my life. I like summer better, and what about you?

    We all know that “Chances favor the preparing mind”. I didn't realize it when I went to high school. Soon after I become a senior high student, a singing competition was to be held. Although I had never sung a song in public, but I wanted to have a try. When I talked about it with my parent, they encouraged me to follow their inner voice. They told me that as long as I prepared good for it, I would make it. Under their help, I became confident and practiced hard after class. The day came. Stood on the stage, I took a deep breath and began to sing with my full emotions. In the end, I won  first prize.

    People always say that we lack of the eyes of realizing the beauty in life. I can't agree complete. Last Friday, I woke up very early and decide to take a walk. In the square there many senior citizens were dancing, I found several elders bury in feeding birds. Without many cars, I realized the city looked so clean but beautiful. Some coffee shops were decorated pretty well, which attracted our eyes. The whole city was covered with green trees, making it green city. At this moment, I found the city was so interested. How I regret ignore its beauty before!

I was far behind most of my classmate when I become a senior three student. Moreover, I couldn't follow the teacher completely in class. One day, I was too much exhausted and confused to concentrate on which the teacher taught. Unfortunate, I was invited to share my own idea. As you can imagine, I couldn't say a word. Feeling embarrassing, I ready to be criticized. Much on my astonishment, the teacher instructed and encouraged me patiently. I was such touched that I was determined to try his best to study hard. Now I am quite confident about my study.
