I'm Lucy from New York. But now I'm in Beijing with my parents. They are doctors and they love their jobs. I am a student and I love my school, too. School is a good place for me. I can do many things there.

I can learn a lot at school. I learn Chinese, math, science and English every day. Also, I can have fun at school. I often listen to music with my classmates. Sometimes, I talk about favorite movies and TV shows with them.

But sometimes I am not happy at school because there are too many activities and they always make me tired.

School is like my second family, and my classmates are like my brothers and sisters. The school is really a big and happy family.

No.5 Middle School asked the students to make a survey(调查). The question was" What is your dream job?" There were 200 students taking part in the survey. Here are the results.

We all know that regular(有规律的) physical exercise is good for a girl's body, mind and spirit. The Women's Sports Foundation found that except having fun and staying healthy, there are many more benefits(益处) to girls from exercise. 

Girls who play sports do better in school. You might think that sports will take up all your study time. But research shows that girls who exercise do better in school than those who don't. Exercise improves learning, memory and concentration(专注) which can give active girls an advantage in the classroom. 

Girls who play sports learn teamwork. Being a team player to work with coaches, trainers and teammates to win games is great practice for success later in life. It can make working with others and solving problems easier, whether on the field or in the workplace. 

Sports have hidden health benefits. Some benefits of sports are clear — like improving physical fitness and keeping a healthy weight. And girls who play sports are also less likely to smoke and have a reduced chance of getting breast cancer(乳腺癌) later in life. Sure, you can get these benefits from any type of exercise. 

Playing sports build up self-confidence. Girls who play sports feel better, both physically and mentally. It helps you build up confidence as you see your skills improve. 

Exercise can reduce pressure. Pressure is a big part of life. Playing sports can help you deal with it since exercise is a natural mood-lifter and a great way to reduce stress and light depression(抑郁). 

 Nowadays, there has always been a problem between young people and their parents. Young people are often unhappy when they are with their parents, because they think their parents don't understand them. They often say their parents are too strict with them, and they are given too many rules. Parents often find it difficult to get their children's trust. They seem to forget how they felt when they were young.

 For example, young people like to do things without much thinking. It's one of their ways to show that they have grown up and they can deal with difficult things. Older people are different  from them. They plan things ahead(提前) and don't easily change their plans.

 Young people often make their parents angry, but they don't want to cause any trouble. The young just want to keep themselves from the old people's world and they want to make a new culture of their own. But if their parents don't understand what they like, young people will feel lonely.

 If you plan to do what you like, you'd better win your parents' support and try to make them understand you. If your parents see that you have a high sense of responsibility, they will certainly let you do what you want to do.
