You may think there is nothing but sand in the desert of the world, but it is not true. In the desert we can{#blank#}1{#/blank#} stones. We can see hills, too. There is a little rain in the {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  , but it is not{#blank#}3{#/blank#}  for most plants.
　　The animals are {#blank#}4{#/blank#} to the desert people in many ways. The desert people eat the meat and drink the milk of the animals. They use their skins to {#blank#}5{#/blank#} shoes, water bags and even tents(帐篷). They use the camels(骆驼) for{#blank#}6{#/blank#}  things.
The people of the desert have to keep {#blank#}7{#/blank#}  from places to place. They must always look for grass or desert plants for their animals. They usually live in the tents. When there is mo more food for their animals, they take down their tents, put them on the camels and move to {#blank#}8{#/blank#} place. The desert people are very{#blank#}9{#/blank#} . No man in the desert would ever refuse to help the people in {#blank#}10{#/blank#}  and give them food and water

　　Years ago you came to me for help. You said, "Grandpa, how could you do so {#blank#}1{#/blank#} in your life? You're still active to your life, but I'm already tired of {#blank#}2{#/blank#} for my life. How can I get the same thing that you've got?"
　　I didn't know what to say to you. But when I know there are few days left for me, I tell {#blank#}3{#/blank#} that I should give you an answer. So here is what I believe.
First, you should know that life is filled(充满) with{#blank#}4{#/blank#} , and many of them are good ones. If you don't keep your eyes {#blank#}5{#/blank#} , you'll miss a number of good surprises in your life.　　
　　When you meet challenges, don't run away, just welcome them. They'll make you stronger, {#blank#}6{#/blank#} and cleverer than you were before. When you do something wrong, you should be thankful for the things it gave you. And then, you should use this lesson to help you {#blank#}7{#/blank#} your dream come true. It's also important to decide what you want. Then keep your dream , work hard for it, and be ready to receive it. It will come true more quickly.
　　And always follow the rules, even the little ones. When you follow the rules, life will work well. {#blank#}8{#/blank#} you think you can live without the rules, you're only fooling(愚弄) yourself.
　　There will be more chances {#blank#}9{#/blank#} you are growing up. So you have to be brave enough to move from a known place to an unknown place. Life isn't just like climbing one mountain. It is also a part of your life to move {#blank#}10{#/blank#} one top to the next. If you rest for a too long time, you may fail at last. Leave the past in the past. Climb the next mountain and enjoy the fight in your life.

    Imagine a life without arms or legs! You can't hold anything in your arms. You can't walk anywhere with you feet. How would you last a day like that? Would you{#blank#}1{#/blank#} (微笑) at yourself in the mirror like Nick Vujicic, the 29-year-old Australian?

And his parents didn't expect him {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (be) a singer. So his dream didn't come tree.     Here are five kinds of animals. Elephants eat plants and fruit. They like water. The zebra {#blank#}1{#/blank#}in Africa. It eats leaves and grass. There {#blank#}2{#/blank#}only about 1,800 {#blank#}3{#/blank#} in China. They eat bamboo and plants. The tiger is in Asia. It is large {#blank#}4{#/blank#}strong. It eats meat. It is good at swimming. Monkeys live in Africa, Asia and America. They eat meat, leaves, fruit and {#blank#}5{#/blank#}eggs.

    Like most Chinese, Mr. Zhang has a traditional family. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} he and his wife are middle school teachers while their 6-year-old son is a pupil. Mr. Zhang's mother lives with them and helps look {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the kid. They love one another and live {#blank#}3{#/blank#} happy life.

But he was not tall {#blank#}7{#/blank#} to do that. So he brought a chair and stood on it. Everyone could feel the warmth and love in the family.

    {#blank#}8{#/blank#} we all know, respecting the old and taking care of the young is a good Chinese tradition. We should try {#blank#}9{#/blank#} best to care for our family. We must visit our parents as often as possible and {#blank#}10{#/blank#} time with them even though we may work far away. Indeed, family is a place for happiness.
