Audrey Sims and Norma Frati are pen friends. Sims is from Australia, and Frati is from America. They to write to each other over 70 years ago, because their teachers them to write a letter as part of a pen friend program in school. They wrote more than 3,000 in the past years, Sims and her friend Frati had never met each other until 2013. Sims was 83 years old and Frati was 87. Last year Sims came to America to visit her old pen friend for the time.
“I think we are to each other. We're both married and divorced(离婚)and married again, and it's almost the same,” said Sims. Sims and Frati love flowers and they planned to visit some gardens together in America. And the two women said that when Sims went back to , they would keep on writing.

In America, science is a very important class. In middle school we were {#blank#}1{#/blank#} how to solve problems by thinking like a {#blank#}2{#/blank#} . We had to think of a question, guess an answer, and {#blank#}3{#/blank#} a way to test our guess. There were lots of experiments and other activities. I remember studying how science can explain things like light and electricity.
Our English class is very different from {#blank#}4{#/blank#} in China, more like Chinese class I think! We read lots of books and talked about them, {#blank#}5{#/blank#} we could understand what we read better. We learned how to know what information is important when we read and what {#blank#}6{#/blank#} so important. In my class we all gave six {#blank#}7{#/blank#} to the class during the year. We had to talk in front of the class for six {#blank#}8{#/blank#} ten minutes!
We also have health classes. In this class, we learned about our bodies and how to take care of {#blank#}9{#/blank#} by doing things like eating healthy foods, and not doing {#blank#}10{#/blank#} things like smoking or drugs (毒品). We cooked a little bit, but I was not very good at it!
