Last night I had a wonderful dream. I {#blank#}1{#/blank#} that I turned into a good swimmer.
In my dream, the weather {#blank#}2{#/blank#} fine and I came to a nice beach. There were few people on the beach and I {#blank#}3{#/blank#} to swim in the sea. While I was swimming, some {#blank#}4{#/blank#} fish followed me all the time. When I stopped, they came to swam {#blank#}5{#/blank#} me. Then, one of the fish began to talk with me. It {#blank#}6{#/blank#} Chinese, too! We had a wonderful conversation. Soon we became good {#blank#}7{#/blank#} and it invited me to visit the place where they lived.
{#blank#}8{#/blank#} I heard a voice, “Weiwei, it's time to get up! Breakfast is ready!” It was Mom's voice. Just then I woke up from my sweet dream {#blank#}9{#/blank#} had to face the real world again.
My dream was {#blank#}10{#/blank#} like a cartoon film, wasn't it?

    Hello! I'm Sue. I'm fourteen years o{#blank#}1{#/blank#}. I don't think I'm h{#blank#}2{#/blank#} because I'm too fat. I have too m{#blank#}3{#/blank#} food every day. I have three p{#blank#}4{#/blank#} of bread and two bottles of milk for b{#blank#}5{#/blank#} in the morning. At noon, I have v{#blank#}6{#/blank#} and rice. One day， I asked her， "Why do you practise so hard? You are playing very well."

"That's b{#blank#}4{#/blank#}．I want to play in the city basketball team，" She looked d{#blank#}5{#/blank#} into my eyes and said. "But I'm still not good enough. I must work hard." I was moved by her great c{#blank#}6{#/blank#}.

     Another day， I saw her crying on the grass，i{#blank#}7{#/blank#} of playing basketball. I walked across the street and sat down by her side.

"Why are you crying， girl?" I asked.

"The c{#blank#}8{#/blank#} of the city basketball team told me I couldn't go on playing basketball because I was too short."

     But some days later I saw her playing basketball again， practising e{#blank#}9{#/blank#} harder than before. I was curious and asked her the reason.

"My father told me if my d{#blank#}10{#/blank#}is big enough， nothing can stop me."

    I was moved again.

    Once upon a time, there was a good king who wanted peace all around his kingdom. So he called for the two{#blank#}1{#/blank#}artists to paint a picture of peace, which{#blank#}2{#/blank#}become the symbol of peace for the kingdom. After the two artists finished their paintings, the day came for the king to{#blank#}3{#/blank#}the best painting. He admired the first{#blank#}4{#/blank#}work. But from the painting of the other artist, he saw the violent storm clouds{#blank#}5{#/blank#}，water and the mother bird with her babies. The King said “this is real peace”{#blank#}6{#/blank#} “If you can be in the middle of all the noise, violence, the{#blank#}7{#/blank#}of the world, and yet be{#blank#}8{#/blank#}in your heart, then you have found true peace.”

    When you talk with someone, you'll need to end your conversation at some point. And there{#blank#}1{#/blank#} many reasons why you need to do that. Either you or the other person may need to continue an activity, such {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  working or shopping. Or you may have run out of things to say. You just want to keep the conversation short.

    But{#blank#}3{#/blank#} do you end a conversation in a polite way？It may {#blank#}4{#/blank#}  on where and how the conversation started. It may also depend on your relationship with the{#blank#}5{#/blank#}person. If you already know that person, you can just say, "I need to run now." Or you can say, "I'll catch you later." You may also give a reason for ending the conversation. "I really need to go—my piano class starts in ten {#blank#}6{#/blank#}."

    Perhaps you just meet someone in a social situation(社交场合）, and you have a nice talk. But then you have to go. You can say, "It was nice meeting you. Maybe we can talk happily again sometime in the {#blank#}7{#/blank#}."

    Another way to end a conversation is to make it easy for the other person to {#blank#}8{#/blank#} . If you see the other person is already not patient, you can say, "Well, I'm sure you have a lot to do today."

You could use these {#blank#}9{#/blank#} to end a conversation, and you should notice that others may also use them. {#blank#}10{#/blank#} they do so, you should know that it's time for you to stop and get on with your day.
