A young man once asked Albert Einstein, the German scientist, 1 the secret of success(成功的秘密)was. The scientist 2 him that the secret of success was hard work.     A wise man was walking from one town to another with a few of his followers, and they happened to pass a lake. So they stopped there to 1 for a while, and the wise man said to one of his followers, "I am very 2. Could you please 3 me some water from the lake?"

    I had a summer camp with my classmates last year.

    Early in the morning. We met at the station. After saying goodbye to our parents, we got on the buses. It took us more than two hours to arrive at the campground. We got off the buses cheerfully. Laughing and shouting. We jumped and ran all over the place. It was the first time for us to be away from the parents .Some of us started to feel homesick(想家). However, when the night party and dances began, the homesickness was gone. The next day, everybody rushed to the boating class, hoping to be at the head of the others. At first, my friends and I worked hard, but the boat wouldn't listen to us and kept going round and round. Then the teacher taught us how to work together. After many tries, we did much better. Swimming class was my favorite. It was about the hottest time of a day and the best time to stay in the cool water. The swimming teacher was a funny man, and during the class he made us laugh happily. During the week I learned a lot of new things and made many new friends. I also learned how to take care of myself.

    The first day of university our professor introduced himself and challenged us to get to know someone we didn't already know. I stood up to look around when a 1_ hand touched my shoulder. I turned around to find a wrinkled（有皱纹的）, little old lady with a smile. She 2_ a minute and said, “Hi, handsome. My name is Rose. I'm eighty-seven years old. Can I give you a hug?” I laughed and responded, “Of course you may!” and she gave me a big one.

    We became immediate friends. Every day for the next three months, we would leave class together and talk nonstop. I always loved listening to this ‘time machine'3 she shared her wisdom and experience with me. Over the course of this year Rose became a campus role model and she 4_ made friends wherever she went. She loved to dress up and she loved the attention from the other students.

    At the end of the term we invited Rose to speak at our football club. I'll never forget what she taught us. She was introduced and stepped up to the platform. As she began to deliver he prepared speech, she dropped her cards on the floor. A little upset she simply said, “I'm sorry I'm so nervous. I 5 beer for Lent（大裔节）and this wine is killing me! I'll never get my speech back in order …” As we laughed, she cleared her throat and began, “We do not stop playing because we are old; wo grow old because we stop playing.     One week after graduation Rose died peacefully in her sleep. However, these words have been passed along in loving memory of ROSE.
