Some people remember the things by writing notes to themselves. Then they leave the notes in obvious(明显的) places, such as on the table or on the floor in the middle of the living room. I don't think I like to write notes to myself. Most of the time I lose them or forget to look at them until it's too late. I prefer to use an alarm clock to tell me what I should do. I have ten alarm clocks in my house. They could tell me about things. For example, if I have to make a telephone call at a certain time, I'll set an alarm clock to go off a few minutes early and put the clock by the telephone. Or if I want to watch a certain television program, I'll set an alarm clock at the right time and put the clock on top of the TV set. I can remember almost anything if I use my clocks. However, sometimes an alarm clock goes off and I don't know what it means. I always remember setting it, but I do not know why I set it. If the clock is by the telephone, I know I may have set it to tell me to call someone, but I can't be sure. I might have set it to tell myself that somebody was to call me at a certain time.

    Ben was hoping for a video game for his birthday. He also wanted a board game. And he wanted some CDs too.

    He got the board game and some CDs, but what was in the last package (包裹)? It was from his sister. He slowly opened the package. It didn't feel like a video game.

    It was a purple sweater. Purple was Ben's least favourite colour. He smiled and thanked his sister nicely, but he didn't want to wear that sweater. He couldn't wear purple!

    He quickly put the sweater away in his room. Then he ran off to play the new board game with his family.

    The next day, Ben's mother asked him about the sweater.

    "Why don't you wear your purple sweater today?" she said. "Your sister made it just for you!"

     "I am not cold," Ben said without thinking. In fact, he was lying. He shivered (发抖) all day.

    Then one day they were going out to dinner as a family. Ben's mother asked him to wear the sweater again. "I don't want to wear it. I hate (讨厌) purple," he said.

    "Ben," said his mother, "I know it's not the nicest sweater in the world, but think about how important Karen is to you. You know she will be very happy if you wear it to dinner."

    Ben walked slowly to his room. He knew his mother was right. He wore the sweater to the restaurant. His sister smiled all night.

    Robert was a greedy（贪婪的）man. One day, he lost 30 gold coins. He went to his friend Mike's house and told him how he lost his gold coins. Mike was kind and decided to help him find them.

    The next day, Mike went to Robert's house and told him he found his 30 gold coins.

    After counting the gold coins, Robert said, "I had 40 gold coins. Ten of them are missing. You must have taken them. And you should pay me back."

    "No, I didn't take them, "said Mike.

    Robert went to court（法庭）and told the judge（法官）what had taken place between him and his friend.

    "How many gold coins did you find?" the judge asked Mike.

    "Thirty, "answered Mike.

    "How many gold coins did you lose?" the judge asked Robert.

    "Forty, "answered Robert.

    "Then those coins are not yours, "said the judge, "for you lost 40, while your friend found 30."

    Then the judge told Mike to take the 30 gold coins home.

    "If anybody reports that they have found 40 gold coins, I will send them to you, "the judge told Robert.

    Then Robert said that he didn't tell the truth and that he lost 30 gold coins, but the judge did not listen to him.

    Always be honest; dishonesty never pays.

It's seven forty in the morning. Some students are coming intothe 1 . The other students are in the classroom. Look! A girl is2 the windows and wants to let fresh(新鲜的) air in. A boy is3 jokes and two girls are laughing(大笑). Lily is listening to4 and she likes singing and dancing. Two girls are5 books.

Miss Liu is their teacher and she6 them English. Nowshe is standing behind the teacher's desk. She is writing7 theblackboard. Sue and Lily are wearing8 new dresses today. Ann is cleaning the floor. Mike is helping her. They all look9 although(尽管) they are kind of tired.10 are Bill and Jim doing? Oh, dear! They're still playing basketball on the playground.

Hello, everyone. I would like to share my perience with you. 

Last winter, I had a bad cold. At first, I just felt {#blank#}1{#/blank#} and my head hurt, but them perature was normal. Then I had the common medicine for the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} for a day, but it don't work. The next day, my temperature was up 38.5 degrees. And I got a severe(剧烈的)) ugh. Then my parents took me to the hospital. 

"Doctor, I have  {#blank#}3{#/blank#} some common medicine at home. Why don't I feel better?" I asked. 

The doctor asked, "How long have you been key  {#blank#}4{#/blank#}?"

"For two days, " I answered. 

The doctor said, "You have a viral(病毒性的) old, so you must have the right {#blank#}5{#/blank#} . "

The doctor gave me some medicine, and. {#blank#}6{#/blank#} me to have a good rest. Later, I became {#blank#}7{#/blank#} again. And I knew the importance taking good care of my body from this experience. 

{#blank#}8{#/blank#} then, I have started to find some says to keep fit. I usually do morning {#blank#}9{#/blank#} do more sports after school. These ways are useful. hey  {#blank#}10{#/blank#} make my body stronger. If you want to stay fit, you can also do the above like me.
