My mother is a teacher. On weekdays, she gives lessons at school and on Saturdays she works in clubs. On Sundays, she is still busy.

On Sunday morning, mum gets up at six. She cooks breakfast for us first. And then it's time for cleaning. After that, she has breakfast with father and me. At 9, she goes to buy food for lunch in the supermarket. She can have a short rest after lunch. In the afternoon, mum doesn't go out. She helps me with my lessons. She does some reading, too.

    Mother watches TV at about 7 when she finishes (完成) the housework. But at that time she is always tired and falls asleep (睡着) in the sofa sometimes.

A kind of Happiness in Rongjiang—Watching "Cun Chao"

Harris was a very small hare(野兔) with very big feet. "Why do I have such big feet, Grandpa?" Harris asked. "All hares have big feet, Harris. I will show you 1 ," said Grandpa.

Grandpa hopped(单脚跳) 2 into the air. Harris copied(模仿) it. He kept practicing over and over again until he could hop as high 3 Grandpa. Then Grandpa took Harris up to the 4 of the mountains. He told Harris, "With your big feet, you can hop to the top of your world."

One day a little boy asked his father, "What does the word ‘great' mean? Who are great people and 1 do they become great? "

The father asked his son to bring two plants and then told him to plant one of them 2 the house and the other outside the house. The boy did as his father said.

The father asked his son, "Which one of the two plants do you think will be  3  and bigger? " The boy replied, "The plant inside the house will be safer,  4  it will grow bigger, while the plant outside the house is not safe at all. No one will be there to  5 it. It may be eaten by animals."

The father smiled and said, "Let's wait  6 .We will know the answer."

Then the boy  7  for study and after four years he came back to his house. He said to his father, "Look, 8 happens to this plant inside the house and it is safe."

When the boy went outside, he was very  9  to see a big tree. The boy couldn't believe his eyes. He couldn't  10 how the plant outside was able to grow much bigger than the plant inside the house.

Hi, my name is Jim. I'm 13 years old. And I'm a middle school student. My school is very{#blank#}1{#/blank#} There are two teaching buildings. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} teaching building has 18 classrooms. We have lessons there. And there is also a music room, a reading room{#blank#}3{#/blank#} five labs in the buildings.

 In front of the teaching buildings is the library. There are many books in the library. There are storybooks, picture books and magazines. We can{#blank#}4{#/blank#} them after class. 

The big sports {#blank#}5{#/blank#} is behind the teaching buildings. We do {#blank#}6{#/blank#}on the sports field every day. On the sports field, we can run, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} basketball and play table tennis and so on.

My school is also very beautiful. There is a big garden near the school gate. There are many beautiful flowers{#blank#}9{#/blank#} it. In the centre of the garden, there {#blank#}10{#/blank#}a pool. The fish are swimming happily in the pool.

It's not often that two problems add up to one solution, but Mr Than Tun Win has made it happen. His programme LessWalk takes the problem of wasted shared bikes and turns them into an easy way for students in Myanmar to travel a long way to school. 

In the last few years, companies of shared bikes began taking up streets. But it didn't take long before there were too many bikes. Some companies went out of business, leaving behind thousands of new shared bikes. 

Mr Than Tun Win realised that these bikes could do good for students in Myanmar: Some of them travel an hour or more on foot every day to school. " If they spend less time on the way, they can have more time to study and have better chance to find good jobs, " he said. 

Soon Mr Than Tun Win raised around $400, 000 and bought shared bikes and shipped them to Myanmar. It wasn't easy — there was much work in moving the bikes from one country to another. 

Though LessWalk began in March 2019, the programme has brought 7, 200 bikes into Myanmar that year. Mr Than Tun Win hopes to bring in 100, 000 bikes and expand(扩展) the programme to Laos and Cambodia.
