Working out can also lift your spirits. Respect your body! Practicing good habits — regular showering; taking care of your teeth, hair, and skin; wearing clean clothes, and so on —can help you build a positive body image. . Your body is just one part of who you are. Your talent for comedy, a quick wit (智慧), and all the other things make you unique. So try not to let small imperfections take over.

A great deal depends on the way we live. But a good general rule to follow is to sleep as long as we have to in order to feel happy and be able to work at our best when we are awake.

    There are actually different levels of sleep. There is a deep sleep and a shallow sleep. In a shallow sleep our body does not get the same kind of rest as it gets in a deep sleep, so that after eight hours of a shallow sleep we may still feel tired. But a short deep sleep can be very restful.

    Alexander the Great was able to get a deep sleep whenever he needed it. Once, during the night before an important battle, he remained awake longer than anyone else. Then he wrapped himself in a cloak and lay down on the earth. He slept so deeply that his generals had to wake him three times to give command to attack!

    Normally when we go to sleep, our “ sleep center” blocks off nerves so that both our brain and our body go to sleep. One prevents us form wanting to do anything and the other makes our internal organs and limbs go to sleep. But someone will fall asleep (brain sleep) and keep on marching, because his body is not asleep!

Building Trust in a Relationship Again

    Unfortunately,we've all been victims of betrayal. Whether we've been stolen from,lied to,misled,or cheated on,there are different levels of losing trust. Sometimes people simply can't trust anymore. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} It's understandable,but if you're willing to build trust in a relationship again,we have some steps you can take to get you there.

    {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Having confidence in yourself will help you make better choices because you can see what the best outcomewould be for your well-being.

    {#blank#}4{#/blank#} If you've been betrayed,you are the victim of your circumstance. But there's a difference between being a victim and living with a “victim mentality”. At some point in all of our lives,we'll have our trust tested or violated.

    You didn't lose “everything”. Once trust is lost,what is left? Instead of looking at the situation from this hopeless angle,look at everything you still have and be thankful for all of the good in your life. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} Instead,it's a healthy way to work through the experience to allow room余地 for positive growth and forgiveness.

It was a really bad experience.{#blank#}3{#/blank#}It was of much better quality than my previous university. Experiences like this strengthen my belief that having faith is important during difficult times.

    ⒉Be around supportive people.

    Going through difficult times is hard, and going through them alone is even harder. You need a group of positive people who can support you.{#blank#}4{#/blank#}If you don't, my suggestion is to start looking for one. Don't wait until you need it, because it will be too late by then. You need the community before difficult times come.

    ⒊Help others.

    An additional benefit of being in a good community is that it encourages you to think about other people. It pushes you to help others and, therefore, think about other people {#blank#}5{#/blank#}As a result, your situation won't look as bad as it would be otherwise. Often the situation looks worse than it really is because we give too much attention. Shifting (移开) some of your attention away will put the situation in a better view.

On the contrary, if we don't learn, and choose to distance ourselves from others, we might be getting dumb, and slow; eventually, we lose energy, and life passion. Instead of being bored, dumb, why don't we keep learning?

    {#blank#}5{#/blank#} More importantly, learning explores our life horizon, helps us build up our confidence; gradually, it leads us to a way of finding a sense of value and achievement in the process of learning journey.

If that doesn't happen, though, within 15 minutes, most experts recommend getting out of bed to do something that occupies our bodies and brains without overstimulating us. Try not to check the clock either.

    ⒋You can catch up on sleep on weekends.

    When we lose sleep during the week, we accumulate a kind of sleep "debt". {#blank#}5{#/blank#}Not so fast. This might actually make you sleepier the next week. Instead of waking up later on the weekends, you'd better go to sleep earlier or perhaps take a nap in the afternoon.
