To the Chinese, the Mid-autumn Festival means family reunion and peace. The festival is celebrated when the moon is believed to be the {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(full).

    Many traditional and {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(mean) celebrations are held in most households in China, {#blank#}3{#/blank#}include eating mooncakes, admiring the moon and lighting lanterns.

    The Mid-autumn Festival has {#blank#}4{#/blank#} history of over 3,000 years, {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(date) back to the Shang Dynasty. It's such an important festival {#blank#}6{#/blank#} many poems and stories {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (write) about its origin. The term “ Mid-autumn” first appeared in the book Rites of Zhou, written in the Warring States Period. In the Northern Song Dynasty, the 15^th day of the 8^th lunar month was established (确立) {#blank#}8{#/blank#} the “Mid-Autumn Festival”. From then on, {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(admire) the moon was very popular and {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (become) a custom ever since.

    How do learning habits influence learning results? It's useful and necessary to discuss learning habits. There is a famous {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (say) “Good habits lead to good endings”, which shows the importance of habits.

“An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” also {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (show) a healthy everyday habit helps to build up our body. Thus, good learning habits can help us gain great learning results, high scores and abundant knowledge {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (include). At first, learning habits form our ways of thinking and attitude {#blank#}4{#/blank#} the content of our learning. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (obvious), a good habit can help us to speed up to reach our destinations. As we can see, developing a good habit is so important that I would like to introduce one kind of good learning habits — keeping {#blank#}6{#/blank#} learning diary every day. We can start the habit by {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (write) a learning summary and remember to record something impressive and meaningful. Keep it in mind, {#blank#}8{#/blank#} gradually we can gain this good learning habit and benefit from it.

What's {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (much), I find out that I still have some bad learning habits {#blank#}10{#/blank#} well. I can only concentrate on reading for a short time, and I will conquer this problem by spending more efforts on concentration practice.

    I believe that through my efforts, I can gain good learning results by having good habits.

    TFK, a reporter from NEWS WEEKLY, is interviewing JACOB, a famous actor and singer.

    TFK: What made you get into music?

    JACOB: My family is very {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(music). My dad and uncles formed a music group. So when I was young, I was always looking up to them and watching them performing. At the age of 9, I started getting into the studio. Everything developed from there.

    TFK: Is there a player{#blank#}2{#/blank#}achievements you admire (羡慕)?

    JACOB: Right now, I would say Justin Timberlake. He really did well in the film and music.

    TFK: What other projects are you working on?

    JACOB: I am working on a record{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(call) This is Me: Volume 2. I{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(do) movies all year, because I want to{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(brief) show my fans my growth. I'm also in a movie called The Maze Runner,{#blank#}6{#/blank#} will come out next September.

    TFK: When you are not acting or studying, what do you like to do?

    JACOB: I love to eat service food on set. I was eating chocolate bars while {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (make) the film Black Nativity. I was eating so much{#blank#}8{#/blank#} they were making special food packages for me.

    TFK: By the way, what message do you think people will take away{#blank#}9{#/blank#}Black Nativity?

    JACOB: The true meaning of faith and the deep{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(devote) to one's family.

    TFK: That was very instructive (有益的).

    The traditional Chinese Longtaitou Festival, also called Dragon Head Raising Festival, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (fall) on the second day of the second lunar month every year, {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the rain-bringing Dragon King is said to awaken {#blank#}3{#/blank#} his winter sleep. It's {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (wide) believed that the second day of the second month on the Chinese lunar calendar means the start of spring and farming.

    The festival is a {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (reflect) of the ancient agrarian (耕作的)culture. Nowadays, although some of the old ways {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (celebrate) the festival are no longer in practice, some still keep on. Most of them are still identical to those practised in the ancient times, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (include) eating Chinese pancakes and noodles. The most famous {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (tradition) practice on this day is to have a haircut. Some people believe that going to the barber's on the second day of the second month will get rid of bad luck, while {#blank#}9{#/blank#} believe it is bad luck to get hair cut during the first month of the lunar calendar. Folk {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (activity)like dragon dance are also held during the Longtaitou Festival across China.

Are you a tea drinker? If so, you're not alone. Every day around the world, millions of cups of this popular brew {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(drink), and it's been that way for thousands of years.

The oldest discovered tea is from the Han Dynasty, {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(date) from 206 BC to 220 AD. But it's thought that the tea trend really took off during the Tang Dynasty in the 8th Century, when it {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(become) China's national drink.

Much of the early growing of tea in China was by small farms and plantations, many of {#blank#}4{#/blank#}were tended by Buddhist monks, on the land high on the mountain tops. So the Chinese have always held the {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(believe) that famous teas come from high in the mountains, and indeed, many of the {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(fine) and best-known teas have often come from these mountain plantations

Today, China produces about 20% of the world tea exports. {#blank#}7{#/blank#}great variety of teas are grown and produced in 16 different regions of China. There's said {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(be) over 8, 000 different classifications, most of which are for green tea alone, with a few black and oolong teas {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(include).

Many of China's finest teas are still made by hand, and the skills needed for their manufacture have been passed down {#blank#}10{#/blank#}generations, from one to the other.
