Recently we have held a class meeting to discuss what is considering to be honorable behavior and which is shameful. To be frank, some students don't respect their teacher or parents. Our school club 'Poets of the Next Generation' is a literary club that was starting by our English teacher Mr. Owen. Yesterday morning, I was surprising to hear that my friend Tom has been hit by a car and was in hospital. The other day he was going to cross the street on his way to school. He was very careful and didn't go until he saw traffic lights turn to green. But hardly had he got to the middle of the street while he saw a car suddenly appear on his righthand side and come direct towards him. It was too later for Tom to dodge (躲开). Hitting by the car, he was thrown a few meters away. He was sent to hospital immediately and had a operation. When I went to see him last night, he was out of dangers but still looked pale.
