    It is real a good chance to have met all of you here. We have spent several precious weekend in learning in the English Club. Although we have been members for a short period of times, we have made a great progress. That is because we are all very much active and the activities are not only enjoyable and also helpful. Besides, the foreign teachers here work hard and try his best to make the activities lively and interested. I am very pleased to say that all of us greatly improved our spoken English so far.     I woke up lately yesterday because my alarm clock didn't ring. With no time for the breakfast, I rushed out of my house. I had intended to catch the 7:30 subway, and I didn't make it.     During the last summer holiday, I went on a journey to Beijing, that I visited the Great Wall and the Palace Museum. Much to their surprise, there were so much visitors in all the scenic spots that I had to push my way through the crowd. To be honesty, I had a hard time all the way and didn't find the visit enjoyable or worthwhile at all.

    As far as I am concerning, many people have the same experience, so I think that the number of tourist in some popular places of interest should be limited. In an addition, it's better for us travel at different time periods. Only on this way can we enjoyed the beautiful scenery there.

    The other day I was getting into my car when I saw the old man walking up the hill. He looked tiring and, as it was quite a rural area, I waited to check that he was OK. He was fine, so I asked her where he had been. He said he'd been taken a train and a bus ride just get out. He liked getting out once a day. He clear wanted to talk and we spent the next thirty minutes talk about his life. It cost me nothing other than thirty minute of my time. I learnt so much and he enjoy the encounter and left smiling.

    Challenges of life are of great importance in our grow. They remind me of my days in senior high school which I joined in the military training after I entered senior high school. It was the first time that I have lived away from my home, so I found it difficult to fit. And the training officer was strict with me. I once thought I couldn't stick to the end. But anyway, I was succeeded. The trials made it much easy for me to adapt to life, but I think the difficulty I came across have now become a precious memory in my life.

    In short, learning to regard the challenges of life as the stepping stone to future success and make the best of them.

    When first learning to ride a bicycle, I decided to go to my friend's houses for a game of badminton.

    On my way there, however, I chased by a fierce dog. I cycled as fast as I could so it jumped at me and caught my leg. I shouted and unlucky fell off my bicycle, that injured my knees. Nervously, I managed to get on the bike. Much to my relief, the dog eventually gave in chasing me. But by then I was too tired to play the badminton. After a short rest at my friend's house, I leave for home, taking other route this time. Finally, I reached home, feel exhausted after the evening's adventure.
