Souanis Kim was an archery (射箭) teacher in a sports school and had trained many outstanding archers. He walked to the tree about 20 meters ahead, put a toy bird on the trunk and said, "The task is to shoot the toy bird 3.

    The students stood in a line quickly. The first one was Sandy. He walked a few steps 4 , put the arrow on the string (弦), drew the bow (弓 ) and aimed at the toy bird.

    "The blue sky," Sandy answered.

    The third one was Jobes. Just 10 he was drawing the bow, Souarus Kim asked, "What's over the bird, Jobes?" Jobes stared at the toy bird and said, "I have seen 11but the toy bird."

    "Great!" said Souanis Kim. Then he shouted,"12!" Jobes shot the arrow and the toy bird fell.

    The students 13 with one voice. Souanis Kim looked at the 14 students and said seriously, "Remember: When an archer is showing, he must have only the 15 but nothing else."

    Stuart and Steve were twin brothers. Stuart loved to play basketball. But Steve loved to read books.

    One day Stuart was playing basketball 1 he fell and broke his leg. When they took him to the hospital, the doctor said he wouldn't be able to play for six months. Steve went 2 him and brought him books on basketball. At first Stuart wasn't going to read them. Then he began to read them and 3 that there were ways he could play basketball better. I had a great time in Hong Kong. I spent five days there. Let me tell you what I did. Today I went shopping with my aunt but I didn't buy anything. The things were too expensive.

Yesterday I took a boat trip around the famous Victoria Harbor(维多利亚港). I took lots of photos.

The day before yesterday I went to the zoo. I saw some monkeys there. Oh, I also bought some gifts there. On Thursday I went to the bird market. I saw many kinds of birds from all around the world. On Wednesday my aunt took me to the beach. We lay on the beach and enjoyed the sun. On the beach I met my friend. We played happily on the beach. What about your trip? One Thursday afternoon, when I was in Grade 7, a new boy came into my classroom. He was short and thin. He walked up to the teacher and told her, very seriously, that he was new. His name was Christian. He sat down, took a look at me, and then looked away. I didn't think he was very nice and I was sure he wasn't the type I would like to become friends with.

During that year, I didn't talk to him much, but he smiled at me when our eyes met, always shyly. He never ate lunch with anybody, and he never talked to anybody but me.

But one day I joined those unkind kids who were making fun of him. We made fun of him though I thought it was wrong. 

"Haven't you got any friends? " a kid asked Christian, who had walked past us alone, head down.  "No, he hasn't got any friends. He's too stupid and shy. " I said. Then Christian looked up at me with the saddest dog eyes I had ever seen. I felt very sorry at that moment.

That night, I couldn't sleep because I couldn't get Christian's face out of my mind. In the weeks that followed, he never met my eyes in class and never smiled at me. It was really hard for me to decide to write him a note asking him to forgive（原谅）me. But I thought I should. 

The next day in class, I wrote him a note telling him how sorry I felt. About five minutes later, I turned and saw tears in his eyes. "You will never realize (意识到) what your apology（道歉）has meant to me, Jimmy, "he said to me. "I hope we can become friends. "

We had lunch together that noon and we had the best talk I had ever had. Over the years at high school, we were close friends.

When I think back, I realize that, if I had not apologized, I would never have known what a lovely person Christian was.

Apologies can really change your life, so never miss the chance to tell somebody you are sorry.

Lily：I watched that. It's an{#blank#}7{#/blank#}opera with over hundreds of years' history. However，its history is {#blank#}8{#/blank#}longer than that of the Golden Sun Bird which had been put at the Jinsha museum. 

Lily：You mean the Golden Sun Bird. I know that. When the main torch was lit by torchbearers（火炬手），four golden birds and the sun also{#blank#}9{#/blank#}brightly.
