Everyone has a childhood and childhood experiences are often very{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(interest).Children often make us laugh.

    I often remember my childhood,the years{#blank#}2{#/blank#}many funny things happened.When I was two-year-old child,both my parents were always very busy{#blank#}3{#/blank#}their work.My mother worked as{#blank#}4{#/blank#}sales manager in a company while my father served in the army.So I{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(live) with my grandma in a village.I was always waiting for my parents at home. Once my father sent{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(we) a photo of his in soldier's uniform,which{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(post) on the table reminding me of him.

    Once my mother came to see me and we were{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(go) to the downtown together.On the way we saw a group of{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(soldier).And when I saw them,I became very excited.I shouted in a loud voice,"This is my father,that one is my father,and he is my father,too..."

    {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (hear) this,my mother laughed and said she would remember that moment all her life.

    Paul Lucas can often be seen walking around the city of San Francisco. Sometimes people are {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (surprise) to see him walking without any shoes or socks,{#blank#}2{#/blank#} Lucas doesn't mind at all. He likes to walk barefoot, and {#blank#}3{#/blank#} do 640 other members of Dirty Sole Society, the club that Lucas {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (start) years ago. Lucas' idea for this is to encourage others to live {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (free)－free of shoes.

    According to Lucas, the barefoot life has many {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (advantage). The most important is simply that it feels good. He also says that walking barefoot allows you to experience the world directly by {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (touch) it with your feet. In addition, the feet do not smell so much {#blank#}8{#/blank#} they stay dry,{#blank#}9{#/blank#} (make) it hard for bacteria(细菌)  to grow. And, of course, walking barefoot keeps your feet in good shape, so it's actually {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (healthy) than wearing shoes.

Cathy: Stan, do you have a minute?

Stan: Oh, hi, Cathy. What's up?

Cathy: Could we ask for a kind of meeting room? When teachers have to talk with their students, they could use the meeting room instead {#blank#}7{#/blank#} the office. You know, there is {#blank#}8{#/blank#} room down the hall.

Stan: You mean that little storage room? Oh, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} would be too small.

Cathy: Are you sure? With those things taken out, it might be {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (big) than it looks.

Stan: Good idea.
