    This is my fifth day at the summer camp. Life isn't exact what I expected. We have to get up early to make our beds before our teacher Miss Li come to inspect. After breakfast, we have some offree time. Yesterday morning I went fishing, but the only thing I catch was a tree branch. In the afternoon, there are different activity like horse backriding and hiking. They're fun, so nothing new for me. In the evening, everyone is as signed a different task to get dinner ready. Yesterday, I was in charge of prepare the hot dogs, but I accidentally dropped it in the fire. The best part of camp is at night, where we sit around a campfire and tell stories.

    Nowadays more and more Chinese go to work with bicycle, leaving their cars at home. Why are so many people riding bicycles to work? They have different reason for it.

    First, bicycles do not use up any fuel. Therefore, they cost less than other means of transport. Besides, bicycles do not need many space on the road, and it is easily to find a place for it. And everybody knows that riding a bicycle is healthy sport.

    When people drive their cars to work or shop, they lost the chance to exercise, but the waste gas from the cars will pollute the air. And moreover, people feel annoying when looking for a parking lot in the busy city center. So I prefer riding a bicycle to drive a car.

    We are looking forward to a cleaner and better environment by changing our life style.

    It is universal accepted that filial duty (孝道) is an important virtue in China. It means respecting and caring parents and the elderly. Take my parents for an example, after my grandma passed away last year, my parents spent much more time chat with my grandpa, going out for a walk with him and cooking him delicious food. At first, my grandpa seemed to be happy. And as time went by, he became uneasy, because he was not used to leading so a comfortable life. Therefore, my parents encouraged him to attend some activity in our community. They also encouraged her to go to a drawing class in a school for the old, which gave my grandpa a great sense of achievement. He becomes very happy again.

    My parents set a good example to me. In my opinion, the real filial duty is giving the old that they really need.

    When I was little, Friday's night was our family game night. After supper, we would play card games of all sort in the sitting room. As the kid, I loved to watch cartoons, but no matter how many times I asked to watching them, my parents would not to let me. They would say to us that playing card games would help my brain. Still I unwilling to play the games for them sometimes. I didn't realize how right my parents are until I entered high school. The games my parents taught me where I was a child turned out to be very useful later in my life.

    There was an art festival in our school last weekend. It had been held for five years and our headmaster plan to make it a feature of our school. I was so excited, for it was first time for me to join in.

    Early in the morning, there were such many people coming to our school, made it so lively. The students gave a warm welcome to the guest. I walked around or appreciated the paintings. All the works were from the students and I was so impressing by them. There were also some handcrafts, that were so creative. Though we were busy with our study most of the time, but some students still managed to develop their hobbies. I should learn to them and develop a hobby as well.

    Since I was a kid, I`ve considered different job I would like to do. First, I wanted to be a fireman, whose uniform looked so coolly. Then, when I was in the five grade, I wanted to be a teacher because I liked my English teacher too much. When I studied chemistry high school, I reconsidered my goal or decided to be a doctor. They were two reasons for the decision. One was that I was amazing at the fact that a sick person could feel much more better after seeing a doctor. And the other is that I wanted to help people in need.
