Zhou: How to work in a team?

Zhou: How to get an accurate story ?

Editor: You need to be curious and ask as many different questions {#blank#}2{#/blank#} you can. What's more, you must do research to keep yourself {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (inform)of the {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (miss) parts of the story. Don't miss your deadline ,don't be rude, don't talk {#blank#}5{#/blank#} much, but make sure you listen {#blank#}6{#/blank#} the interviewee carefully.

Zhou: How to protect a story from accusation?

Editor: {#blank#}7{#/blank#} the interviewee agrees, you can use a {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (record) to get the facts straight, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} can offer the evidence {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (support) your story.

    Last year, my brother and I went to Miami for a vacation. Some of my friends who had been there before said {#blank#}1{#/blank#} was a Wonderful holiday destination. Before we went, we had planned for months. When the day came, we were ready.

    After our plane landed, we went to the hotel. We had made our reservation six months{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(early), but the man at the front desk said there had been a mistake. We{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(tell) that our rooms hadn't been reserved for that week,{#blank#}4{#/blank#} for the week after. I didn't understand {#blank#}5{#/blank#}this would happen and my credit card had already been charged {#blank#}6{#/blank#} the reservation. What's worse, the hotel had been fully hooked. We had never stayed in such an amazing room, and we weren't charged extra.

    The next day, my brother and I went to the beach {#blank#}9{#/blank#} we watched some people play volleyball. We got a little {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(sunburn), but the day had been so relaxing that we didn't mind.

    Nearly 610,000 Chinese students attended schools and colleges overseas in 2017. China remains the world's {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (large) supplier of international students. A majority{#blank#}2{#/blank#}the students went to European and North American countries. Countries{#blank#}3{#/blank#} (include) in the Belt and Road Initiative (B&R) became new destinations, with student numbers {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (rise) by 15.7 percent in 2017. At the same time, about 480,000 graduates returned to China. Since 1978, about 5.2 million Chinese{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (study) abroad and among those {#blank#}6{#/blank#} graduated about 83.7 percent returned to China.

    Meanwhile, a total of 490,000{#blank#}7{#/blank#} (foreign) from 204 countries and regions studied in China is 2017. Students from the Republic of Korea, Thailand and Pakistan were the most numerous, while the United States ranked {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (four). Students from B&R countries accounted for 64.9 percent of{#blank#}9{#/blank#} total. About 59,000 international students in China {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(support) by Chinese government scholarships.

    Samuel Langhorne Clemens, more commonly {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (know) as Mark Twain, was born on November 30, 1835 in Florida. Twain is considered{#blank#}2{#/blank#} greatest author and humorist of the 19th-century American literature (文学).

    In 1839 the Clemens family moved to Hannibal, Missouri, on the Mississippi River where he was brought {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. Like many authors of his day he had little formal education. His education came from the print shops and newspaper offices {#blank#}4{#/blank#} he worked as a youth. In 1853 Twain left Hannibal to travel. On a trip to New Orleans he persuaded a riverboat pilot {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (teach) him his skill. By the spring of 1859 Twain was a licensed riverboat pilot.

    After a(n) {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (success) attempt at gold and silver mining he joined the staff of a newspaper in Virginia City, Nevada. He first wrote under the pen name Mark Twain in 1863. 

    He continued to travel as a reporter for various newspapers, and in 1869 his travel letters from Europe {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (collect) into the popular book The Innocents Abroad. Between 1873 and 1889 he wrote seven novels {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (include) his Mississippi River books.

    {#blank#}9{#/blank#} Twain's life and career progressed he lost much of the humorous style of his earlier years. What was expressed more and more in his later works was {#blank#}10{#/blank#} human beings are selfish. Even so Twain is best remembered as a great humorist.
