My mother speaks very good English but she knows{#blank#}1{#/blank#} Japanese. She went to Tokyo for a meeting on November 11th. The meeting was {#blank#}2{#/blank#} on November 15^th.
The next morning she went to a park and then did some {#blank#}3{#/blank#} . At noon she felt {#blank#}4{#/blank#}  .She went to the {#blank#}5{#/blank#}  restaurant and sat down at a table. A waiter came {#blank#}6{#/blank#} and asked her{#blank#}7{#/blank#} she wanted. My mother said in English that she would like some noodles with chicken and some vegetables. But the waiter didn't know English. My mother looked around. No one was eating noodles.
When she saw a piece of paper on her table, she had {#blank#}8{#/blank#}  idea. She took out a pen and wrote the {#blank#}9{#/blank#} words for the food on the paper. She{#blank#}10{#/blank#} the paper to the waiter. The waiter said "OK"and soon he brought her noodles.

    I packed, and was ready to leave for my two-day trip. I had been busy with my work. I had made p{#blank#}1{#/blank#} for the trip for the last few days， and I expected to get r{#blank#}2{#/blank#} for several days. As I got into the car to leave, my mind flew to my kids.

    How to keep in touch with your kids when you're busy or far away is a dilemma(两难的问题) many fathers have. Men like to focus special attention on one thing for a long p{#blank#}3{#/blank#}, but this can lead to trouble. Moving from work to family isn't always an easy thing.     I was moved when I heard these words. What I had never thought was that a small thing had a big influence on my kids. It proved(证明) that they were in my heart. And distance (距离) couldn't s{#blank#}8{#/blank#} them from their father. To my satisfaction， they feel “love” of their father. This v{#blank#}9{#/blank#} experience encouraged me to continue to do the small things to be a responsible father.

    As fathers get much busier and have to work longer hours, they usually pay l{#blank#}10{#/blank#} attention to the small things. Don't miss the good chances to let your kids see how important they are.
