Last year, two days before Christmas, my friends called, telling me their kitchen caught fire, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (destroy) everything in it. I drove to their house, taking all the food I had. He explained that he understood that as he had lost his job the year before but now was working again. {#blank#}9{#/blank#} tears in our eyes, all of us went away. It was such {#blank#}10{#/blank#} wonderful feeling to see folks step up when someone needed help, even a total stranger.

    Questioning can lead to searching for an answer. If we are in the habit of asking whether that we are told is true, we can find the correct answer and learn more.

    Two years ago, our teacher, Mr. Alex offered us an answer of a difficult math problem in class. Because the answer seemed a little strange, nobody but I doubted it. Thought that his solution might be wrong, I carefully analyzed the problem and try to work it out in a different way. Half a hour later, I managed to find the correct answer. When I showed my answer to her, the teacher praised me for my dependent thinking.

    From this experience I have been learnt that questioning can serve as a bridge helps us to seek the truth.

    Back in 1995, Jack Ma made his first trip to the US and used the Internet for the first time. After searching for “beer”, he saw that no results came up related {#blank#}1{#/blank#}China.     Ma became the richest man in China, when  the company he founded floated on the stock market last year with a value of around ＄140 billion—the {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (large) public offering in history.

    One day, Nick invited his friends to supper. He was cooking some delicious food in the kitchen. Suddenly, he {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (find) that he had run out of salt. So Nick called to his son, "Go to the village and buy some salt, but pay a fair price for it: neither too much {#blank#}2{#/blank#} too little."

And anyone who took advantage of that situation would be showing a lack of respect {#blank#}7{#/blank#} the sweat and struggle of the man who worked very hard to produce it."

    "In the beginning, there was only {#blank#}9{#/blank#} very small amount of unfairness in the world, but everyone added a little, always {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (think) that it was only small and not very important, and look where we have ended up today. "
