It is a common thing to forget to return a book to the library after you've borrowed it. Maybe, you'll you'll realize it has been some{#blank#}1{#/blank#} (month) since you borrowed it and decide to return it.{#blank#}2{#/blank#} (similar), when Ron Webster borrowed a book from the library of the University Of Liverpool, he too forgot to return it. When he was 30, back in 1953, he was working {#blank#}3{#/blank#}a research assistant in the university. It was during this time {#blank#}4{#/blank#}he loaned a book titled “Structure and Function in Primitive Society.” Shortly after he borrowed this book, he {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(call) to London to continue his research. Just as you might have expected, Ron Webster completely forgot the whole thing.

    Ron had a {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(success) career and worked for Ford before retiring and leading a relaxed life. Recently when he took {#blank#}7{#/blank#}look at his collection of books, he discovered the old book. He contacted University officials to ask about the {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(possible) of returning the book.

    University Librarian was {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(amaze) to see Ron arrive at the University Of Liverpool,{#blank#}10{#/blank#} (try) to return a book that he borrowed 61 years ago.

    Just in case you were wondering, the total fine that Ron Webster had accumulated over the years amounted to ￡4,510.

    Recently a really strange thing happened in a middle school in China's Hubei Province. Over 600 students there took part in a "caring for an egg like a baby"{#blank#}1{#/blank#} (active), in which they were asked to keep an egg close at hand for a month{#blank#}2{#/blank#}breaking it.

    "It's hard for parents to bring up their children {#blank#}3{#/blank#} many students just ignore it," said Liu Kang, the school's director. "They should {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (teach) to be grateful to their parents, who have given them life but ask for nothing in return."

    Li Ming is one of the students. His egg didn't break during the month, but he felt   {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(exhaust). He said, "I can't imagine {#blank#}9{#/blank#} sad my parents would be if there was something wrong with me, their 'egg'! It is now time I {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(do) something in return for their love," said Yan.

    Just like every technological advancement, the next is set to be a huge deal, and such is the case for 5G.The wireless technology {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (expect) to power self-driving cars, virtual reality, smart {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (city), and networked robots. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (research) from King's College London who have joined with Ericsson (ERIC) to dream up futuristic applications for 5G have looked at everything from music {#blank#}4{#/blank#} medicine.

    The team is working towards using {#blank#}5{#/blank#} technology to transfer physical skills across networks and creating what they are calling the “Internet of Skills”. “With 5G and the new networking architecture we're building, we're hoping to get this delay down to just the speed of light,” said Mischa Dohler, a professor of wireless communications at King's College.

    Furthermore, 5G will {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (hopeful) allow a surgeon with virtual reality equipment {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (work) on the other side of the world via a robot. They will use haptic (触觉的) gloves, {#blank#}8{#/blank#} will allow the surgeon to sense motion and pressure when {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (operate) on a patient and can get instant feedback via the gloves.

Meanwhile, Dohler does not expect this to happen overnight and {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (believe) it could take the “Internet of Skills” another decade before it is fully functional.
