As is known to all, we live in a world of germs（细菌）. It is impossible to avoid exposure. Genetic makeups may give some people {#blank#}1{#/blank#} advantage over others. However, it does not stop people from becoming sick.

    All of us have been a victim of an {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (ill) at some point in our lives. Moreover, it is likely that we {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (get) sick again in the future. Our best chances of avoiding sickness {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (be) by exercising and employing good {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (habit).

    While good hygiene and exercise serve as obvious advice to most people, eating {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (healthy) is not always obvious. If you cannot define “healthy”, then your immune system will be happy {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (tell) you. The immune system is the foundation of our health. It works for us every day to keep us well. Ask {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (you): “Are you making its job easier {#blank#}9{#/blank#} harder?”

    Like any system, the immune system is not different. It has a tolerance too. If you eat unhealthily, your immune system will make you aware of it.

    Take a step in the right direction {#blank#}10{#/blank#} including some healthy food in your diet.

    If you travel or go abroad, it's necessary to mix with the locals. This allows you {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (put) your language skills to the test and find out more about the local culture. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (live) abroad for a long time, I've put together {#blank#}3{#/blank#} list of tips to help you make friends in a foreign country.

    Firstly, say yes to everything (within reason). Obviously, if you don't feel {#blank#}4{#/blank#}ease, you can choose not to do something. However, don't put off trying something new. The group of students from your class who invite you out for a coffee might end up {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (be) your friends for life!

    Secondly, find a hobby or try something {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (entire) new. Join a dance class, a walking club, or learn to cook the local food—the possibilities are endless!

    Thirdly, get out of the house! Hours {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (spend) in front of a computer with family and friends back home surely make you even more homesick. Make the most of the new and exciting place you live in.

    Lastly, don't be a wallflower. When surrounded by people speaking an unfamiliar language, you may feel it difficult to be {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (confidence) and involve {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (you) in conversations. Even so try to make your voice heard. It's very likely {#blank#}10{#/blank#} you will find everyone wants to know everything about you.

    One day, Nick invited his friends to supper. He was cooking some delicious food in the kitchen. Suddenly, he {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (find) that he had run out of salt. So Nick called to his son, "Go to the village and buy some salt, but pay a fair price for it: neither too much {#blank#}2{#/blank#}too little.

And anyone who took advantage of that situation would be showing a lack of respect for the sweat and struggle of the man who worked very hard to produce it."

    "But such a small thing couldn't {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (possible) destroy a village."

    "In the beginning, there was only {#blank#}9{#/blank#}very small amount of unfairness in the world, but everyone added a little, always {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (think) that it was only small and not very important, and look where we have ended up today."
