What was supposed to be {#blank#}1{#/blank#} fun climb became a test of friendship for two young people from Canada last Saturday. Jeremy Savage and Ian Marshall, both {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(age) 17, went camping with their parents for the weekend. On Saturday morning, they decided to climb the mountain by themselves while their parents relaxed at the campsite. After three hours, they reached the top {#blank#}3{#/blank#} no problems.

    However, trouble began when they started the climb down the mountain. On one very {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (danger) part of the path, Ian fell three meters off the side of the path. Jeremy was able to climb down to where Ian was. Ian was  {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (bad) injured and could not move. They had to wait and {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (hope) that someone would come and help them. As the evening grew {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (dark), Ian told Jeremy to leave him and go back to their parents, but he still did not leave. Jeremy thought {#blank#}8{#/blank#} was not safe for Ian to be alone. The night was cold and windy, and Jeremy used his jacket and extra shirt to keep Ian warm.

    At sunrise, Jeremy decided that the only way  {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (help) his friend was to carry him. So they started the long climb back to their parents. Finally, after four hours, they arrived at the campsite {#blank#}10{#/blank#} their parents were waiting, “I'll always remember what Jeremy did for me.” said Ian. “He saved my life.”

    The young artist and potter Allan had a wife and two fine sons. One night, his older son developed a severe stomachache. Neither Allan nor his wife took the condition very {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (serious), but the boy died suddenly that night.

    Knowing the death could {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (avoid) if he had only realized the seriousness of the situation, he always felt he was guilty. Worse still, his wife left him a short time later,{#blank#}3{#/blank#} (leave) him alone with his 6-year-old younger son. Unable to stand the hurt and pain, he turned to alcohol and became{#blank#}4{#/blank#} alcoholic.

    As time went by, I began to revalue my {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (early) rough judgment. I knew Allan's now adult son, Ernie, one of the kindest and most caring men I've ever known. I hadn't heard him talk much about his father. One day, I worked up my courage to ask him what {#blank#}8{#/blank#} earth his father had done so that he became such a special person. Ernie said quietly, “As a child until I left home at 18, Allan came into my room every night, gave me a kiss and said, ‘love you, son'.”

    Tears came to my eyes as I realized what I had been a fool to judge Allan {#blank#}9{#/blank#} a failure. He had not left any material{#blank#}10{#/blank#} (possess) behind. But he had been a kind loving father, and left behind his best love.

    Last weekend our school held a sports meeting. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (realize) it was our last high school sports meeting, we decided to make it {#blank#}2{#/blank#} unforgettable experience for all of us.

    We first attended the opening parade, for {#blank#}3{#/blank#} our class had made a lot of {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(prepare).

    {#blank#}5{#/blank#} our excitement, our parade performance was a great success. After the parade, the games started. My classmates attended {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (vary) events such as running, high jump and long jump. Due to the hard training they {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (do) before, their performances were very {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (impress).

    My classmates applauded and cheered for the athletes, some raising their cameras to capture the exciting moments. Finally, the result {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (announce). {#blank#}10{#/blank#} was amazing that our class won the second place. Our efforts paid off! Cup in hand, we took a picture together. I believe this sports meeting will remain a precious memory for all of us as time goes by.

Fill these pages with kind acts and good thoughts of your heart. Write a great story about your life.” The intention of writing the story of his life excited him.     Every day we live out our story through our words, actions and decisions. But we must remember to live with intention to focus on what{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(matter) most in life and to regain that focus when we get changed. Without intention, we can become unfocused in things{#blank#}8{#/blank#}needn't add to a life of significance and difference in our world.

    Life isn't perfect and it's always hard,{#blank#}9{#/blank#}we need reminders in our life from a friend, author, blogger, pastor or our inner spirit to re-focus us on the things that matter and make us live{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(positive).
