    Last Friday afternoon, an old craftsman invited to our class to teach us how to making dough figurines (面人). When the craftsman came into the classroom, we gave him a warm welcome and two boys help him with the tool box. First, he showed us the basic steps and skills of making dough figurines. We stood around him but watched attentively. Then we started to have a try himself. An old man walk around and helped us patient. Finally, we put the figurines we made on the table and took pictures with the old craftsman. Looking on the figurines, we were all very much excited. We hope we can have more activity of this kind!

    I'm so exciting that our drama club won the first prize in this competition. Participating in this club help us to learn more about drama, but develop our self-confidence and cultural qualities as well. Besides, thanks for the club, I have known many friends who share the same interest with myself. There we communicate and learn from each other. Before the competition we keep on practicing for long time. Luckily, our efforts were paid off, what is beyond our expectation.

    I'm the only daughter of my parents. So they worried about everything I do. For example, when I ride my bike, my parents won't let me ride by myself. They are afraid of I might fall off my bike and hurt myself. Instead, they are taking great trouble to support a bike, with my mother even carrying a first-aid box. I'm not free to ride and I often say angry, 'Why not let me ride alone?' Now, most family have one child. Parents want to do everything for his children. This does no good on them. Too much love from parents may prevent children from become independent. In my opinion, parents should let their children do that they should do alone.

    Yesterday, I stepped into a shop to have my watch repair. After the shop assistant checked the watch, she said she had to contact with her manager to see if this kind of problem could be fixed. As I was waiting the response from the manager, I saw a old man in a wheelchair roll himself over to the counter. No one seemed to have noticed him, so I got up, went over to his wheelchair and ask whether I could give him some helps. Kindly as I was, I found that I could do nothing to help her. At that moment, the assistant replied that it would cost little money to fix this problem. I was very sad and about to leave the shop while the old man said, "You are a nice and thoughtful boy, and I would like to help you pay for it."
